Aside from how loud it is, this thing is awesome. Ghilli it up for whatever environment and armor plate it, you've got yourself a good soldier. It doesn't actually seem to hard to maintain from what I've seen of you guys. Considering its mostly hydraulics I assume you'd just take some oil and a small repair kit out into the field and you'd be set.
How this complex structure will be powered. Incredible to look complete functional. First use the 3d printed one.. insted of metal sheets. And cover rest gaps with flexible materials. Waiting to see the more refined.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌.
It will be powered by a regular motorcycle battery, it will last about 15-30 minutes of operation. There is no point in closing the gaps, because the casing was made for filming in our series, a real battle casing made of armor would have a completely different configuration. We tried to print on a 3D printer, but the strength is extremely low. Alas, this is not suitable for exoskeletons.
I'm not engineer or learned that much on custom building frames, BUT, if you were to upgrade the exo frame or go with a new one, you can use heavier/stronger pistons and go with a more simple frame design similar to the exoskeletons edge of tomorrow exoskeletons or XOS 2 and for armor plates if you plan to go with new designs can look at the terminator or gravis armor types from WH40K if you were to add any additional plates, but at the moment just perfect the frame and usability, I don't mean to sound hurtful at all, but instead giving out ideas that I hope could help ya, you have an incredible project and probably the only person at the moment who's making an armored exoskeleton/power-armor, keep up the good work.
You can do almost anything. But here you need to understand that models from games and films often do not work in reality and you will inevitably have to make many changes to them. By the way, my friends are doing something similar: Zander Marriott and ROBOTECH
@@nomadcontrafact6305 i know, but i mean some armor design wise, with the armored carapace protecting the back of the head and frontal plate protecting the chin and neck of the user and as for design-wise i think the XOS2 has a good design that could work in terms of having a frame, but thats just my thoughts there! also very very nice! but i do think the fallout design of power armor or the mk 1 from iron man has the most possible and realistic design that may work on making the armor plates or exo frames

You should do more tactical full body plating that can stop 5.56 caliber armor piercing rounds up to 33 caliber rounds and cover lower armored movement areas with soft flexible armor pads. I recommend taking inspiration fr samarai armor as theirs is flexible,highly covered, and beautiful. I would take inspiration for the chesplate from the cuirass for its angled effect
it pisses me off that a fellow like you can make a exoskeleton and test on simple armor plating compared to multi-billion dollar companies funded by the military who just scrap everything moments later imagine if a massive company funded your project or hired you to work on a prototype exoskeleton? i can see alot of crazy and amazing possibilities.

You are right, it would be. But firstly, it would complicate the work of the control system. Secondly, it would require a higher air flow rate, which means a more powerful compressor, a larger receiver and a capacious battery. Well, in the end, it would all be much more expensive.

Where does the time come from? This is a hobby, I find time for it on weekends or after work. It is very difficult to say how much it will cost. In my experience, soldiers don't need this massively. They need a different type of exoskeleton

Yes, you have good ideas. But this project is just an experiment to see if it is even possible to create such a robot with plate armor
