Dude you're a badass and so is your crew. Glad to see someone triumph over their faults!
Glorywhole check out my channel 👌🏻
Glorywhole how Tf is this bitch a badass
Mark B.
Luca Bacchelli he followed his own path and dreams and became highly successful as well as a self made company owner through hard work. He was able to rise out of the negative circumstance of living as a poor kid in a bad hood and create a situation for himself where he feels stable financially and gets happiness from it. If you don't think that's badass you got your sense of idolization wrong
He came to our scad film festival yesterday! And he preformed for us! I love this guy!! ❤❤
I was there!
I live in Baltimore and I always see him downtown yoyoing lol
amirasydnor awesome!! tht wud b dope
As a 45 year old detective who's been in law enforcement since 1997, it's GREAT to see youth going in a positive direction and influencing others in a positive direction as well. We need so many more people like this young man and his friends. Over the years I've seen so many young people idolize criminals and the criminal lifestyle instead of focusing on something positive.
you guys should do more vids like this
As a yoyoer myself, I've watched a few other of coffins competition videos, and followed OYY (OhYesYo) yoyos. I've always thought the idea behind coffins alternative approach to the yoyo culture was epic because of how unique it is.... I had no idea he had a stutter.. That just makes everything he already does even more inspiring.
8:15 spoke truth
Very proud of You, Brother!
From working at Amazon to a National Geographic short film. Amazing!
Infinite love and positivity for You!
I enjoyed this story and its message. thanks
It's amazing to me that something so seemingly insignificant (a simple yoyo) can save a persons life. Black citizens in inter cities must have the most difficult lives. Without the yoyo, it is possible this person would have become involved with drugs and gangs.
This was a truly inspiring story.
Will Murrin well put, anything that can better ones life rather than fall into the same trap many of us in poverty deal with (gangs, drugs, crime) is amazing. Wish this individual the best as well as you all. United we stand tall, divided we fall
One could say that yo-yos will spin your life around.
I thank you. :)
MedEighty XD
This video made me smile from beginning to end.
I love the Vibe he's spreading.
Best example that you can avoid the negativity that tries to tear you down.
People have to see more of him.
2:17 that is actually a really good crack on a wall
one of the best friends ive ever met. this guy is insanely talented at multiple things, its crazy.
This is in Baltimore? Man I thought this was in another country or somethin'.
That city needs to be raised to the ground and rebuilt.
jason4275 *razed
Thank you grammar Nazi, "Fucking Moron"
Only Canada.
what are you talkin aboot ay?
He seems like an interesting person, awesome! :D
He is, also also a very nice guy, seems intimidating with some of the crazy spiky thinks he wears, but he is an awesome dude, very nice, 100/10 person u should know.
He has lovely cheekbones.
Yooo! Dopest thing I've seen all week.
Unfolding Reality I agree!!
you can watch more if you look up world oe national yoyo contests
I'm sorry that I missed this 2 months ago. This is incredible. Very moving.
I also missed it somehow... It was even posted to my local yoyo store's blog...
And I'm like a whole year late
I love how the film started off with Coffin and his life, brought in the yo-yo and spun off from there to a story of finding a new community. Each scene seemed to display various moods regarding throwing; the serenity of the park showed how Coffin could enjoy playing without having any spectators, the stage of the competition showed him striving for aesthetic and technical superbness, etc. Love this!
These young men are GREAT! The simple yo-yo seems to have awakened a self balance and positive energy that inspires peace within them. This graceful art has united a group of souls that could have been just another number in the book of violence that Baltimore has. Do you know how hard it is for kids, teens and young adults to find self peace let alone balance and community? May all the best touch these young men. Thanks so much for this feel good short film. LV
Well done young man. Well done.
thanks for uploading i didn't know people could actually do that with a yoyo amazing
I think this guy is so cool. I love when people are genuine and allow themselves to unironically love what makes them happy. Far too many reject themselves, making it incredibly difficult to enjoy them as human beings...
This dude looks like a straight Warrior. Dope look!
He's the Yo-Yo whisperer.
This guy needs to be the main protagonists to a manga or anime. Like just having all sorts of yo-yo gadgets to fend off villainy.
May this young man live long and prosper. This vid just made my day.
Really great short doc!
Thanks for posting this! So inspirational! Thank you!
Way to go! You guys rock and are beating the odds of not being good at anything.. you have showmanship, class, intelligence and most of all your OWN damn style !!!
i've bein yoyo ing through some rough times in my life. i've kind of experience this on my own. i'm glad someone made this video
I think he's so cool and badass. You are inspiration to many youth of color growing up in the inner cities witnessing violence and the death of loved ones. Good being you. Love from Somalia.
Thank you for sharing your story! This was amazing!
The cinematography and the music really2 clicked and well made. Thanks i learned a lot. Keep it up!!
Coffin Nachtmahr won an Emmy for this documentary. I'm proud to call you my brother
I've played yo-yo since age of 5...but I just gave up this hobby cuz I'm too busy... it's so glad to see you just hold
a hobby like this and keep going.
this guy is lit !! love him, keep it up dude, love your message, and story
Loved it from start to finish, felt like I got the whole story and never missed a beat! The guy is an inspiration to so many people on so many levels and it's truley awesome to watch. Well done to you and yours 👏. Increase the Peace ✌️.

I used to competitive yo-yo for years, made it to joint 1st place in the Irish national finals. This has sealed the deal on me picking it up again, my father showed me how to throw years ago. Was only talking about this about 10 days ago, and here I am watching a video on it. Gotta check this guys line out.
I met him today! He's probably one of the nicest people I've ever met.
saw him at the Virginia yoyo competition, he's a beast. wish I would have had a chance to talk to him
such an inspirational story. I find solace in yoyos too, they're amazing!
I find doing regular up & down yoyo hard asf! Respect my dude ✊🏾
Had a chance to see film as part of a Short Film Feature at Port Townsend Film Festival in Washington, and meet Coffin. Wonderful guy and amazingly talented.
Nice story n awesome yo-yo stuff...keep on inspiring others man.
Great film! Beautifully executed
These young brothers are awesome. I wish the best to you all
Very positive videos of my brothers doing and enjoying something they love.
This is life! Such a beautiful story!
I love how the yo yo goes with the flow. like its a dance to the music. awesome.
The was very inspiring and really cool!! All the best Brother, more power
lovely documentary, really feel like I learned something from this guy.
Good job on finding an awesome retro hobby that not lets you focus and express urself but makes you realize although u may not me as "normal" u prove in ur way ur above them
Very cool! So hypnotic watching the rhythm of the yo-yo. I wonder if anyone has ever combined throwing and step dancing? It feels like they would compliment each other rather well...
Wow this is awesome !!
This dude is a super hero. there needs to be a comic based on him
Positive vibes here. Fantastic !
Very inspiring story, this made me love yoyos
Love what he's been able to overcome and achieve.
More of this, we need more.
great video and message bruh
Big ups to you bro!! Major skills keep up the good work
He's a beast. I grew up playing with yoyo's and I can't even explain how many I screwed up. He's crazy with the yo-yo game
I love this guy. Such a genuine heart :-)
Really awesome!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
powerful! great message!
awesome story awesome guy and awesome video editing.
Thanks for your message man. That is the same way I feel about my skateboarding and every thing else I do. A escape from this world. With that being said. I miss RC drifting why does it have to rain.
This guy hit me deep. As a person who also has the same stutter pattern. I'm glad he's able to make a name of himself. I also try to get a ahead and make name for myself despite having to fight the stuttering daily (doesn't make it better I constantly have to speak in front of executives).
He's beautiful and I love his story!!
Mad skill with a yo-yo!
Inspirational young man and a great role model, I'll show this to my daughter when she gets older
This is dope. Props to the dude coffin.
Nice to see something positive come from that hole in the ground. I live 30 min from Baltimore and I hate even going to the city because of all the negativity and turmoil there.
Saw this a couple times on my recommendation, finally click it and I'm glad I did. It was a lot more interesting then I thought it was going to be.
I love your stutter Carter...keep on pushing King...One Love😊❤
That's funny..I'm from Latvia and I met this guy in Baltimore's airport one year ago:) I was amazed by his performance, I made a lot of videos, we spoke for a quite long time, he was on the way of making film about himself and seems like here it is..what an interesting world:) Congrats Tyree!
The sound track in the beginning is so beautiful. :)
His cheekbones are to die for 🙌🏼😍
5:50 Don't mind us, just three dudes throwin yoyos in the street. Dopest thing I've ever seen.
YOOOOOOOOOOOO I WAS ON THE PLANE FROM CHICAGO TO DC WITH THIS GUY 2 WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUDE IS DOPE. RESPECT
Well done mate!
I love this video thank you
he's beautiful
amy lol u have a crush on him ???
CLOROX BLEACH beautiful...does that word mess having a crush on him? Why do you see sex everywhere
Yawo Elevn because sex is in the air
beautiful ..meaning he has spirit, drive, talent, style, an original...beautiful because he tries, endures, conquers, and is fearless in his efforts.
what are you all talking about?...people need to be reminded of beauties meaning?
he is beautiful to me.
I agree with your definition of inner beauty but physical beauty does exist too.
This is great u go bro
I can't even put it up and down😂. He's definetly a master of the yoyo! 🤙🏻
Keep it up Coffin, I LOVE you take on life. You symbolize something huge to me. An idea to stop caring about what others think and just be yourself. I feel like that phrase, be yourself is cliché to a lot of people. but when you really stop and think about it. what you reallllllly want to be/do in life. Cool is subjective. You determine whats cool. !!!
wow this is truly amazing I would run into this guy all the time on my travels through Baltimore City. He would have a yo-yo in his hand doing tricks. Congrats to you !!! 🎇🎇🎉🎉
wow this is soo soothing
i really like this type of insprational videos, it opens my mind.
at the end i forgot he ever had the stutter until the last one. wow that was great :)
Thankyou brother ur a blessing and inspiration to the world bob Marley did in song what you do when u throw everyday
Yoyo is stress reliving I was bullied and around my that time I started yoyoing my friend ran the news show at school and let me do a segment on yoyo and now all the old bullies want to hang out with me
Truly inspirational
You just became my personal hero!
