This is the best video detailing the most complex aircraft I've ever seen in a simulator, I'm astonished, gob smacked even! And I want it! I go back to the very first Microsoft free version. That was a long time ago. Then FSX, Prepared3D and now MSFS. Now I fly with a VR headset and have 4090. And I never get tied of it - maybe I need help. I cannot think of a better toy for a grown man - I'm 60 and enjoy my simulator every day! You're a legend Emmanuele.

You know one thing I noticed flying this I don't know why my alternator lights were staying on. But anyhow what an awesome video I'm not a real world pilot but I love learning and boy I learned a lot in this video. I don't understand the pressurization, That's something I've haven't had to worry about in the sim thus far. but thanks so much.
I'll be getting the Bonanza for sure. With the 414 in my hangar and the Baron for xp11, that fleet slot is taken

Excellent video and very helpful for non-pilots like me. I love what Black Square has done. I haven't finished this video yet as I'm currently flying it! Anyway, when transferring fuel tanks for the models that have it, do you turn on the fuel boost pumps while doing so? If so, low or high? Thanks.
I'm also flying it while watching videos about it, ha. Possibly Black Square's best aircraft yet, but the King Air is also amazing.

Love the video. I purchased this plane as soon as it launched. Quick question however, how do you click on the V/S knob to change between V/S and altitude select, i can’t figure out how to “pull” the knob out using my mouse. I’ve tried clicking all around and holding LMB and pressing RMB and clicking both etc and I can’t figure out how to preselect a vertical speed.
Thanks Zach! The clickspot is in the middle of the small button on the altitude panel.
Right click on that spot with mouse, but it also zooms in briefly lol!
Great review, but it is hard to see what you do without instrument lights on.
I always found it odd that despite showing a copilot in the load sheet there's always only one guy in the plane(and obviously never passengers). Is there a way to change this?
I'm not aware of any way to change this, but why not drop the developer an email and ask?
Can make a side video going through all of the starting procedures, Im consistently ruining my engines after every flight
The developer has done such a video already. I believe it's part of the technical overview.

You have to own the deluxe version to get this? As a B55 owner I'm always interested in a Baron sim. I actually used the REP mod for xp11 to familiarize with the Baron when I was going for my twin endorsement several years ago. Procedure and checklist practices.
You need a copy of the default Baron in your sim in order for the Analog Baron to work, yes. That comes with the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe version.
Which one of blacksquare plane do you recommend for medium haul flight above 100 nm ? There are too many to choose

Caravan
Bonanza
Baron
I'd choose between the Baron and the King Air.
Which of the ones to take will depend on the operations you want to do. Private, recreational flying? Go for the Baron.
Commercial Aviation? King Air

A2A: i'm sorry, the Comanche is not out yet
Thinking back to A2A in P3D I would not know anything in their addons that would be superiour to the Black Square aircraft at the moment.
Not graphics, not sound, not systems.
For now A2A are primarily talking, but we haven't seen anything the likes in our sim. Once released things might change. But for now there's nothing in sight.
If it's not out, then it doesn't count.
@@A330Driver Don't kid yourself. Black Square is very good, but A2A is on another level. The default MSFS sounds don't do justice to the complexity of Black Square's engine modelling which, while good, is still not as advanced as what A2A had on P3D. They also had more and better features like the walkaround and hangar. I suggest (if you still have P3D installed) that you go back and do at least a quick traffic pattern in an A2A plane and you'll see what I mean.
I get the feeling that all black square analog products look too dark inside. Even on a sunny day it's hard to see the instruments and I have to turn on the lights. Do ya'll see it like that too?
It doesn't seem that bad on my sim. Certainly MSFS is not the very best when it comes to displaying dark instruments like those steam gauges used here, but I find them well readable in most conditions I have encountered yet.
There is an Analog King Air with the same addon, right? Are you gonna do the same review?

Have you ever noticed that one of the prop blades on the asobo baron model is on backwards?
Seriously go have a real good look. Two blades are normal and the thirds trailing edge is where the leading edge should be.

Der Restart sollte auch nicht klappen, weil ich die single engine Landing demonstrieren wollte 😂

msfs premium edition only, I have gamepass, installed the Baron, but not showing up. Do I have to buy the premium edition of msfs in order to use?
You need to have the default Baron in your sim in order to use the Analog Baron.
@@A330Driver Yes, I have installed the Baron via content manager ingame, but the default plane is not showing up alongside my other planes. I assume I actually need to buy the deluxe version, instead of only gamepass, but not sure.
Sorry, but how can you call it realistic for a piston-engined plane to fly with a climb rate above 2000ft right after takeoff? Like any GA plane ever launched in the entire history of simulation, this is totally unrealistic. This unfortunately happens to all GA, and it is an offense to real pilots.
Well the beechcraft data shows max 1700fpm continuous but with lots of caveats it’s possible you could manage 2000fpm if tried but wouldn’t be sustainable. It’s fair point you made that the sim is generous with performance limits I don’t think it’s serious insult though 😂
How to tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me you don't know what you're talking about.
This is a turbocharged aircraft up to 40" MP on TO. POH states 1850 fpm at max gross.
