Thanks for the idea for this. You can create the image in PowerDirector by moving the scroll head to where you want to split the video, then right click the clip and select Edit Video>Freeze Frame. It's far easier than doing it in the app and then trying to find the exact point to split the clip to insert it.

It seems to me that a slow motion effect would have been more impressive than the freeze frame. More impressive than that would be if you had the camera rotating on a wheel as you jumped over.

In regards to software, as a Mac/iOS user I have found the situation to be reversed actually. iOS app will only let you grab a fixed frame photo, but the Inst360 studio for Mac will do the 360 snapshot for you so you can reproduce the trick entirely on the computer. Anyway, Insta360 are announcing a new 3.5.0 update to the Studio with some major features, like tracking, that up to now only worked on mobiles. Excited!

I'm not sure. I Don't know much about DaVinci Resolve. However the latest update to the insta360 app allows you to do a freeze frame effect, so you'd be able to do this entire effect just using the phone app. And it'll be way simpler and easier. I'll probably be doing a tutorial about this pretty soon

Don't buy this camera it doesn't work. You can't download content to any computer (I've tried). Plus, it doesn't record in mp format. Plus the company is unscrupulous and won't take the piece of junk back. Buyer beware, if you want to drive yourself crazy buy this camera.

I used to use Power Director just for the 360 functions, I I think you can do everything in Davinci Resolve now

How about freeze the jumping moment and view him not from bottom but at the same eye level with him? similar to Matrix bullet dodge.

Hello, in a video it does not give me the option to take a 360 screen capture, only the flat capture, how do you do it?
Follow the directions I gave in the video and make sure your app is updated, you can only do it on the phone app.
