- In this video we continue our look at wiring the devices in the sprinkler room of our 5 story building. We wire up the dry sprinkler system devices, including a Potter PS40-2 low air switch and a Potter PS10-2 waterflow switch, and the wet sprinkler system, including a Potter VSR waterflow switch. We look at wiring the sprinkler bell to both waterflow devices. We also look at wiring up the fire pump conditions. We are monitoring the following conditions: Pump Run, Power Fail, and Phase Reversal.
These are amazing videos. This is what I really need. You are a RUclips fire panel teacher for me.
I recommend your videos to anyone who is new to the industry or someone who would just like to brush up a bit. Each of your shows seem to cover something I didn't know or fully understand. Thank you for all your work.
Thanks Mark
I'm not familiar with that panel. On silent knight panels, the Sbus is a data circuit for annunciator communication. Sounds like you're looking for a conventional panel that you can connect a switch to. I don't know anything about the panel you're referencing, sorry I couldn't be more help.
Thanks, these videos are really helpful.
IM SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK! My boss recommended you to me, and I saw that the last video you uploaded was a year ago and I thought you might have given up on RUclips.
Thank you you're the best
Hi Joe,
Really appreciate your effort to explain this system so easily. I learn something important every time I go through your video, clears out the small queries.
I will make request if you make a series on the mechanical interfaces with fire detection system it will be quiet helpful.
Once again Thankyou for the series.

Hello great video!! This video will help a lot of techs!! Do you use Notifier models because is your favorite brand?? Stay safe and have fun!! ...
I worked for a notifier distributor for many years, and it was the manufacturer in knew best when I started this series. Thanks for the kind words.
thank you
I would like to see a video explaining fire pump generators.
Hi Joe,
From the island of Trinidad and Tobago. I was wondering if can do a video on IR/UV flame detectors. How they are wired and function in accordance to the FACP...
Thanks in advance.
Boa noite,

Hey Joe I really appreciate your videos and it's a big school for me. I'm just wondering if you are planning to complete this 5 story building project in the RUclips Channel anytime soon thanks a lot
Probably not, haven't been motivated in a really long time.
When’s the next Joe video?? I’m really missing this content!
Hello, Joe! Happy 2024! I really enjoyed your posted content and wanted to know if I could contact you about a project I'm working on. I'd appreciate your input. Having a different perspective could really help the direction I want to achieve.
Yeah you can shoot me an email. Joeklochan@gmail
Is there any good books on fire alarm installation you can recommend?
I don't really know. The NTC Brown Book was pretty good at explaining certain aspects of fire alarm. Not sure how much it got into installation. Seems like that would be a tough book to write.
What software are you using for the diagrams?
Microsoft Paint
You should change your channel name to “Fire Alarm Joe” since that is what is usually put in the search bar to find you
Sir please FMM -1&101 canection
I have videos on this. Look up my videos on monitor modules
