i just got a brand new 2025 nissan sentra SV. i was originally looking at Toyotas for their reliability since it’s my first time buying a car. But i was genuinely convinced to get this one. i love it and im hoping it lasts me years
Excellent review Kevin! A brand new Nissan Sentra is certainly a very compelling buy. After you factor in dealer discounts and rebates, a new Sentra is several thousand dollars cheaper than a new Toyota Corolla. Yet the Sentra has a nicer more premium interior unlike the Corolla with it's.cheap plastic interior, standard blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert unlike the Corolla, and the Sentra has more legroom too! Plus I agree with you that Nissan keeps improving it's cars and the CVT on a new 2024 Sentra is more reliable than say a 2018 Sentra CVT. I choose the Sentra over the Corolla!
I have a 2018, it’s my first car and I’m still paying it off. But seeing that if I device to buy the cheapest new sedan will put my current payoff 3X, I think I’ll hold off for now. At least until I get my professional job after graduating college, most likely I’ll get a Civic.
I can't wait until I get my 2011 Sentra. I will definitely post my thoughts here when I get it. I'm probably biased but nissans interiors have been looking awesome with the stitching and materials. I just hate how all the new cars have a cockpit kind of feeling. I miss how older cars had an open feeling cabin where you can stretch out more.
I personally driven a 2017 Versa and a 2024 Sentra And boy let me tell The CVT of 2024 Sentra didn’t even feel like a CVT cuz that Boy was upshifting like an auto matic transmission And it was a very smooth Gear… To be honest if Someone didn’t know that this thing had a CvT then they wouldn’t be able to tell it.. it drove that impressive 💯 On the other hand 2017 Versa Being my FIRST it car I gave up in a month cuz that thing drove so bad…
Yea that's reality of these new CVTs but internet thinks they are so smart saying the same regurgitated lines regarding the transmission. Reality is, Nissan's latest CVT tuning performs better than most eco automatics. Reliability is a question mark with every brand, pay like $2k to have that warranty extended after 5 years it's just that simple but people like to play victim and complain they're not interested in solutions or truth.
Nissan is a very good company and is the leader of their group - carrying the entire alliance Mitsubishi, Infiniti, Samsung Motors & bloodsucking renault

It’s much better than the Corolla. I’ve driven both a lot.

Yea my friend I can't believe the Corolla is still going for sticker nice car but not worth that price imo
@@MeynMotorGroup Toyota and Hondas are still in high demand!
This doesn't look too bad and I'd take this over a Corolla and save a packet.
@@Excalabur50 yea I really don’t like how the Corolla is still trading for full sticker that’s ridiculous

@@Aniki1111 yea they did a decent job with this one for sure
the car would be amazing with a 160 HP Hybrid engine, thanks 😀
Maybe it's just me but if you have to think about buying an extended warranty, then you shouldn't be buying the car.

Everyone is suing CVT these days…
Whose CVT u think is the best overall?
@@MeynMotorGroup yup people Don’t like to change their old Beliefs. It’s just the sad truth.
Isn’t Nissan stock rated Junk….?

No one disputes that fact.. The truth though undoubtedly hurts.
