Damn! I was going to send you a key today ahahahahah I did not watch it fully, but we are working on releasing a Patch 1 day with a ton of fixes and changes! Hope you enjoy it! Oh I skipped to the end a bit, sorry for the softlock, we will take a look into that. Also there is a Drafting mode! But you have to unlock the Arena first.
I would have paid for it even if you sent the key haha, very happy to support! Glad to hear about the drafting mode, would be really nice to have just as an alt option right away on the main menu, but _very_ glad it is there regardless!
While this game looks like something that's right up my alley, I am a bit worried about the top Steam reviews: 1. The "characters" are basically just skins. The only difference between them is the starting deck, which you can fully customize. 2. Games like this invite experimentation, which in turn means a lot of fiddling. The UI seems to be too clunky and slow for this purpose. 3. Some otherwise viable decks find certain bosses to be almost impossible to defeat. As I said, the game looks great and I'd love to play it... but at such a very high price (for an indie deckbuilder, which are usually around half that), I'll be waiting for more reviews and maybe a patch or two.
Hey there! dev here 1. You are correct! Let me explain our thought process behind this decision: Firstly, we wanted to avoid forcing players to commit to a particular playstyle, card pool, or passive attribute right at the beginning of the game. We didn't want players to feel restricted by their initial choice and miss out on potential build options later on. Additionally, we know that many players prioritize visual appearance when selecting their character and may not fully consider the gameplay style or starting deck. We wanted to provide players with the opportunity to switch up their strategy as they progress through the game. While choosing a starting deck that suits your playstyle can definitely give you an advantage, we want to ensure that it's not a permanent commitment that limits your options throughout the game. 2. We noticed that some people thing some elements of the UI to be odd. This is a hard problem to grasp for us, but we are studying the topic and thinking about it! sorry for the wall of text lol, and thank you for raising your concerns!
i feel like you just assumed that that boss at the midpoint of the video was an automatic lose and gave up too soon. i mean, obviously, they were going for a dark souls feel to acquaint you with the death and restarting roguelite mechanic and yeah, you probably WERE meant to lose, but it looked like you could have won if you had put more focus in on dealing damage to him. but maybe not. I'm not sure i want to spend the $25 in the steam store to try it myself, lol. but maybe if it goes on sale.
@@Retromation okay, i was thinking it's like the asylum demon in dark souls, you're "supposed" to lose, but you "can" defeat him and get a nice headstart
Technically you could win that tutorial fight by not taking any damage, you can't get petrified at full health. The game neglects to tell you that in the tutorial though. Also get used to softlocks the game has a lot of them.
I'm trying to think of the name of a game you played a while ago that looks kinda like this but it was on Kickstarter. I know that seems like a vague description but maybe you know the name of it. I wanted to play it but can't find the name to see if is even finished yet. 😞
Thanks God to your Video, i was close to refund the game because, i thought i am to stupid to kill the tutorial boss, but its the game mechanic xD thanks for showing it to me
@@andersc6593 But there's is basically no reason to? Slimes are the most basic enemy in any game and have been for years. Slimes are a good starter enemy. It'd be like replacing goombas. Not to mention tons of games have similar things to one another. Not to mention things game is pretty unique already.

The game is great and I'll be recommending it to everyone!
send it to me instead 😅
@@tomasolenscki2762 Second this
You could bounce that my way instead, eh.
this game looks soo interesting would love to see more of it soon!
The sprites look absolutely fantastic!
Just FYI, if you put your mouse over keyword text on cards, it tells you what the keyword means.
This game is so cool. Looking forward to a series on this.
Nice, I saw this on the steam store yesterday and wondered if you'd release a video covering it. Woohoo!
I played the demo and I loved it! The full version looks awesome!
Can we see more of this soon?😊
A heal card is a lot like a ranged attack card when it comes to dealing with bombs
This game is super sweet,
Edit: This section deleted and moved to suggestions in your discord
I have been waiting on this one for a while.
if you make a series outta this, I'll be there.
Love this game

I would like more videos on it ? If you want to play it

It is 100% a supposed to lose boss

The only thing I can think of is Paper Animal RPG, unless you meant the last time I covered this game while it was on Kickstarter
@@Retromation you could be right. I just don't remember your character being an animal.
In the demo of Dungeon Drafters you were a human
@@Retromation that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the clarification now I can buy it with confidence.
Series!? 👍
the demo says it has full controller support but it didn't work for me, does the full game have it?
Ima stick w Siralim
I beat the entire game without knowing you can view enemy intent. Feels so bad now :(
nice
Oh so this is more of a let's try channel? Not exactly what I'm looking for but good luck.
Not really, only 1/4 of the daily videos on the channel are Let's Try lol
Thanks God to your Video, i was close to refund the game because, i thought i am to stupid to kill the tutorial boss, but its the game mechanic xD thanks for showing it to me
The price on this game is wayyy too high. Half the price would be good as the base price
the game looks very cool but the enemies are so stupid
Why must every video game feature a slime ball enemy???????????????
Why not?
@@joegaddy2030 it’s just so boring and cliche. I’m sure this game also has some skeleton enemies that throw bones.
I just want devs to get more creative!
