The Indiana Fever the 4 previous seasons before Christie Sides was hired in 2023 went a combined 30-94. In her two seasons as head coach, the Fever went 33-47 and made the playoffs for the first time in 8 years.
The Fever started this season by losing 8/10 games due to an unfair brutal schedule, and it was a miracle they bounced back and made the playoffs. She kept that team together despite a lot of turmoil and pressure from outside forces, and I think the fans and media fired her. To sum up, if I were the Chicago Sky, I would contact her immediately and believe she would have another shot to coach in the league, unlike many other fired coaches.

@@KentuckyRick62, Since she was a Chicago Sky assistant for a long time, she knows the city and the organization. To conclude, Quitas' father is right-this is Mark Jackson and Golden State again, and she deserved another year to adapt to coaching and fast-paced offense.
