Day Trip to England's Holy City CANTERBURY and Seaside Town WHITSTABLE

Westgate Gardens is one of England's oldest parks. Also, it's an ancient site, since the old Roman wall and London gate are still there. The park is free to enter.
Stour River surrounds the city, offering a visual feast. You can see the city from different angles with a river tour if you have the time.
You come across this crooked 17th-century house while wandering the streets of Canterbury. The Crooked House is famous and interesting enough to inspire Charles Dickens' novels. At the entrance, a quote from "David Copperfield" greets you. The house, now a second-hand bookstore, used to donate some of its income to the homeless. This only made me love Canterbury more.
If you've watched my previous videos, you'd know I'm a Harry Potter fan. House of Secrets had all kinds of Harry Potter souvenirs, so I got lost in there! One by one, I wrote Hogwarts houses' mottos. Our next stop was Whitstable, a seaside town in Kent. It takes about 20 minutes by car, or you can take the train from Canterbury East. By train, the trip takes 40-50 minutes via Faversham. It's around 10 GBP one way. Here's the link to the ticket details:www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/
Whitstable is a place you'll fall in love with! Everything about it was great: the food, the sea, the dogs, the peace, the calm. You don't want to miss Whitstable if you're here. Maritime and oysters are the biggest livelihoods here. While you're there, try the seafood. Based on the reviews, we went to Lobster Shack. On a Saturday, it was a bit busy since we didn't make a reservation. About 15 minutes passed while we waited at the door. We're glad we waited because the place was great.
