    something happens with the mask when you click on that panel that won't happen without it. frustrating.

      I am in need of fixing 5 pictures before I can print them, and came to this video. I just looked up this plug in & it's actually 99 now w/out a subscription. 79 w/ a sub. regardless I guess it depends on how bad you need a photo touched up & fixed. I need it pretty bad to me 99 is worth it. Plus I can use it for anything else down the road. I've spent 99 on other crap that wasn't worth it. All in All , I think it's a good deal.

    I used this on a lineart file I colorized to remove some original file resolution grain, and the color came out so smooth! I'm printing it as a poster, so the smooth color transitioning was important. I'm so glad this technique worked on this, I would have hated to have to retrace all that lineart!

    • @Stylemypic

      You need to go to Photoshops top menu: edit>camera raw filter in that step to open camera raw filter. This is what the Apply LUT button was programmed to in that video. Also, the DeNoise PS action is available for download under this video: ruclips.net/video/hqGi9vPe7jU/видео.html

  • @andrex991
    @andrex991 3 года назад +9

    Thanks. One question, i'm missing the step on 4.51, when you go to smart filter and mask, than the raw filter. After that, you go to apply lut. But you merge the layers before that? After that step, i can open the raw filter, but i keep the smart object + mask, under that the raw mask + filter, where the mask show white only.

  • @iskandartaib

    4:34 - Got lost a little bit at this point. When I drag and drop the selected items in the Lab document to the RGB document, I end up with two layers (Background and Layer 1) in the RGB document. Also I'm finding it difficult to follow the next few steps. Which of the two layers do I convert into a Smart Object? Also I seem to be lacking the Camera Raw filter. Also what is the ?? control panel? My Photoshop is an old version, it came with CS5.5.

    • @iskandartaib
      @iskandartaib Год назад

      1st problem - I didn't use the Lasso tool to copy from the LAB file to the RGB file. So that now works. I can then (in the RGB file) duplicate the background layer, change the duplicated layer to a Smart Object, click on the Mask button (have to watch these videos closely). And then I still can't find a Camera RAW filter, even though Camera Raw does appear under Help -> About Plugin. Maybe it's just because I have an earlier version. I can still apply the Reduce Noise filter to the Duplicate layer, but it's not as effective. Playing around, Noise -> Median seems to work somewhat. The mask does preserve the edges.

    Bro, I'm literally SHOCKED, I wanted to remove noise using photoshop because my pc is crap so I can't higher the samples in blender, and the denoiser doubles the time which is annoying, because cycles takes me without the denoiser 3 minutes, that while applying adaptive sampling, but what I just saw was MAGIC!
