    This video may have single-handedly saved my butt. I'm editing a close friend's wedding photos, and although they have great coloring and positioning, I had to resort to a high ISO because of low light in the church. This program is far more affordable than a lot of programs out there. Great video, highly informative, doesn't waste your time and is presented well. I'll definitely be watching more!

    Meanwhile Lightroom classic introduced an AI denoise tool. It works flawlessly at 50%...it doesn't soften the photos

    I don't co-sign any of the other commenters, as I didn't listen through headphones, and I found your delivery informative, witty, light-hearted, concise, and specific.
    As a relatively new photographer, the question I came away with was which software you use first, second, etc. Do you start with Topaz, move to Lightroom, use a third? Fourth? I'm tuning into this category of content in an effort to establish my workflow to develop efficiencies for scheduling, budgeting, etc.
    I'll be tuning in for more of your videos.

    At first, I was only wearing my right headphone when watching your vid. That made me realize that your audio channels are not stereo, as I thought you accidentally published a video without speaking :)

    Why cannot we select only the background for light denoising?

      You can when you select via the AI masks.

    • @Andreyuku

      @@ParkerPhotographic so then we can select the background and denoise it more, losing detail. But that only highlights our subject. That seems like a good idea.

    Hi Chris. Some observations about the video, with the hope that you will take it in a positive light to improve future content:
    1. I like that you’re standing at the start of the video. The presentation is great.
    2. The video gimmicks initially, I didn’t quite like and it looked over the top.
    3. The actual introduction to DeNoise AI sounded very salesman-sy. Very cheesy and I am not generally a fan of that stuff. There are other noise reduction AI tools out there like ON1’s NoNoise AI and Luminar’s Noiseless AI. In certain occasions, NoNoise AI outperforms DXO’s tool. I think you should have mentioned it.
    4. I shoot with a Fuji X-T30 and frankly, unless I am at a 4x zoom, I don’t see noise at 800 ISO. So, I think the “noise exists at ISO 200” is partially true. There’s noise which exists even at a camera’s base ISO but it is very easily corrected without AI tools and then there’s noise which may require masking etc., which is what we can achieve with AI tools.
    Thanks for the tutorial.
    PS: There’s also an online tool, Vance AI, that is extremely affordable at $5 for 100 credits.

    You seem to have gotten a bit defensive about feedback on the audio here. When so many people are saying the same thing, you can't just "oh it's a problem on your end"
    A bit disappointing to see.

    • @ParkerPhotographic
      @ParkerPhotographic  11 месяцев назад

      But that's the thing... it's a problem on their end... not mine. So, I'm not being defensive. I'm stating a fact. I have zero problem hearing audio in both the left/right ear. If you don't, there's nothing I can do about it. But you can... get the right headset and/or set it up properly. Problem solved.

      @@ParkerPhotographic believe me it is one of those aha moments where although you feel sure you are right but you having missed a small detail and then realize ah yeah sorry I didn't know about that.
      so, your video's audio is playing on the left only and since most people have stereo headphones they notice that while you and others can have both left and right working because they either have mono headphones or they have stereo headphones but changed the setting on windows or mac to have it working as mono only. and it is annoying to change the audio settings to watch a video and then roll it back to watch another.

    Interested in where digital noise comes from.

    • @ParkerPhotographic
      @ParkerPhotographic  9 месяцев назад +1

      It comes from amplifying the light as you increase the ISO (during capture). It can also be created during the editing process. For example, if your image is underexposed and you correct this in post by increasing the exposure, digital noise will be present.
