- January 28, 1992 - Yes, Michael Jordan got the best of everyone just about all the time. But that's kind of what makes these moments so special. San Antonio Spurs center David Robinson finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds, 8 blocks, and 3 steals in a 109-104 victory over the Bulls, snapping Chicago's 13-game win streak.

Look at Coach Popovich @0:32 lol. This was the year David Robinson was Defensive Player of the Year. And wow, he was averaging 5 blocks going into this game!
Robinson was a beast.
The Admiral was rocking in the land of the big ole womens out there!
LOL
Drob staying low tracking MJ , then pounces and blasts the weak sh%t !
Is there any shame in being outplayed by David Robinson?
Robinson - highly underrated. In the 90's you could not have a conversation of all-stars without him.
But you sure had plenty of conversations in may and June without him… until Timmy carried him to promise land.
@@TheRealTurkFebruaryhis prime were behind him but contributes greatly give the admiral the respect he earned it.
@@TheRealTurkFebruarytbh drob didnt have any good 2nd options until he got injured then spurs got the 1st pick and the rest is history
In the alternative world, the Bulls played Houston and San Antonio in the Finals
💯
Things might have went a little different for Mike.
@@SeptemberVirgo78 The '97 Rockets and the '99 Spurs would've been a problem for the Bulls
There's a Reason why The Bulls always gets to the Finals and eventually become Champs and there's a Reason why Spurs and Rockets don't reach the Finals in those Years. So the Narrative that they might give Mike and the Bulls a Problem in the Finals is far from Reality. A Regular Season Game is Different from a 7 Game Playoff Series. MJ, Phil and Rodman ain't dumb enough not to figure them out Defensively every game.
Shutting Jordan down. They don't talk about that
where was this in the last dance?
You have to make it to the finals to be in the last dance if you're a west coast team, hence last dance
@@lawrencemoore3863 then why were the pistons in there?
@@teej6632 that's why I said finals because this was a regular season game bulls played Pistons in playoffs . They would have to be in finals to play mj .we can easily put mj dunking on Robinson or ask magic. Thanks for footage though love basketball and respect the admiral
@@lawrencemoore3863 you make no sense
@@teej6632 I'm sorry you can't comprehend. In order for the spurs to be in the last dance they would have to have played them in the playoffs or finals since the spurs are a west coast team it would have had to be in the finals. When I said ask magic three of the best moves he's ever seen was dr.j,mj on the Lakers and mj dunking on Robinson
this whole vid is EPIC !
Olajuwon owned Jordan....he struggled against great centers if the West.
Chicago Bulls had struggled vs the Texas teams like San Antonio and Houston, cause the admiral and the dream we're big monsters?
Great to see San Antonio giving the Bulls a bit of an A__ whupping, in 1992. The refs did let a few things go, but turn about is fair play, if you know what I mean. I like.
0:45 Do I see a euro-step long before Manu was even in the league?
David "Admiral"Robinson the best
Admiral is a class act, unlike most of them.
Great center... great game vs the Goat MJ
Go Spurs forever
Why Air Jordan didn't get up higher than Robinson....one time for you d riding fans...
Because Robinson is 7-1, was extremely athletic, long arms and had a high vertical for his height.
Robinson was the player with the best muscular physique ever.
I take nothing from the Admiral, but who has more championships? What happens in a few games compared to that is miniscule.
😂 Jorpoker took that 1st rejection personally, so he went at Robinson with a revenge dunk, only to get rejected again

If was Lebron getting the block he would still cry out loud for goaltending
The admiral really shined in the regular season….
At this point, it became personal.
Those times
That intensity in a regular season game 🔥🔥🔥
The bulls wouldn't stop robinson in san antonio.
King david
All in one game. I wonder if MJ was golfing all day.
Golfing?
@@airkuna Hehe. You should watch the last dance documentary about Jordan, then you'll get the reference
You should really take a look at Jordan’s box score for the game…
@@TheRealTurkFebruary was it insane or terrible?
Awesome ending the spurs of the early '90s always seened to get the best of the jordan bull's. Regular season
I watched MJ as much as I could growing up and David Robinson was the only player I did not mind humbling Jordan. Eddie Jones I remember had some great plays against MJ too.
What a sensational block by robinson on Jordan. Robinson isn't overrated after all.
THE NBA WAS ROCKING IN THESE DAYS . IN THE 1991 - 92 SEASON . THEE ADMIRAL IS A TOP 10 CENTER EVER . THE HEMISFAIR ARENA IS MY FAVORITE ARENA EVER .>🎤 🏀🗑️
Lucky lefty good stuff admiral
they ack like they won the playoffs
Pops over there looking like son
У Джордана было нарушение, пробежка в 3 секундной зоне.
If you thought David Robinson was good, Hakeem Olajuwon will knock your socks off.
The Admiral
Jordan had 39, 9, and 7 with 4 steals. So it ain't like he got shut down or outplayed by anyone. The Spurs just got the win. Robinson had some great defensive plays in this one (as was typical for him).
Olajuwon was avg about 32ppg against the Rockets his first 9 seasons but was 5-11 against them and it was Olajuwon that was owning Jordan! Jordan hated coming to Houston and San Antonio
@@deebofleebo6427 I know that. Olajuwon is not Robinson, though.
My fault I meant Olajuwon was 11-5 against Jordan, but what I meant was, Jordan got his numbers on those two greats but was getting owned by them both
@@morganlee2806 The Spurs usually defeated Jordan's Bulls, actually. Both the Spurs and the Rockets tended to beat the brakes off the Bulls because they had no answer for their big men. Spurs won a bit more often, however., since their team tended to be more complete than Houston in the 90's aside from the '95 season. Houston was insane in '95.
Try to just let there be a video spotlighting an underrated player without naysaying it. There's like a million Jordan videos and maybe like six positive Robinson videos.
Jorfraud exposed
If you really wanna see Jordan getting handled, look up Bulls v Rockets
It’s funny how you post this one time he got the best of Michael Jordan but what about the times that Jordan got the best of him multiple times, and even dunked on him 🤦🏽♂️
90s Robinson and Ewing was fighting for the third place in the Center position
Robinson and Hakeem were fighting for #1, Robinson typically won since he was 32-16 vs Hakeem.
Below them was Ewing and Shaq.
@@thecensoredmuscle563Facts 💯
@@thecensoredmuscle563Majority of Robinson’s wins was when Hakeem was old and when he had Tim Duncan to carry the load, LOL. We all saw what happened when both were in their prime in the most pivotal moment during the 1995 WCF. Hakeem destroyed Robinson that series and Robinson played pitiful compared to Shaq in the next round the 1995 NBA finals.
Whole lot of stupid plays within this 4:37 YT video. :D
I bet if Jordan stopped at the 3p line on a fast break and jacked up a shot you would think it was an intelligent play
That steal/dunk was definitely traveling, lol. Still awesome though.
