Sowon and Yuju are naturally thin without any diet, and gaining weight is a struggle for the both of them. Sowon only started to have noticable weight gain in 2019, and even then she still looked thin, but its how her body naturally is. For Yuju, if i not mistaken she rarely eats bread and similar products. She nly went on a diet once i think and that was her own decision because she knew she was gonna be lifted for a split second in the sunrise choreo. There was a time that she took a break and went back looking thinner than she usually did as well. As for other members, umji got a lot of hate on debut just because she was "overweight" which resulted to her usually hiding her face from the camera for the majority of their early years, but umji was dedicated with exercising and lost weight lost her chubby cheeks (i miss chubby cheeked umji though) and suddenly the people were like "umji so pretty now" but we all know she was always pretty and cute and people are just judgemental. Yerin also lost the chubby cheeks she had on her debut and personally i think it made her less energetic at times, she also lost a lot more weight after she got appendicitis, that one performance where she was clutching her stomach for the majority of the performance is hard to look at. And eunha, fans know for a fact that eunha doesnt like dieting. And we also acknowledge the fact that she looks good as is and doesnt need to diet, but apparently the company still made her diet but gfriend being gfriend, soumu became more and more lenient on the diet cuz they know they cant stop their idols from eating what they want and eventually stopped forcing them to diet. Smartest move they have done cuz gfriend, having one of the most difficult choreography consistently, making them diet would weaken the girls. And also, having difficult choreogrphies makes it easier for gfriend to burn anything they eat naturally without even a need to restrict the food they eat.
When Eunha gained weight during Sunny Summer, gfriend were really busy preparing for their Japan promotions as well. She looked good with the extra weight during SS era

Eunha's waist compared to her thighs also isn't that small, its a nomal waist not a small one, but she still can be called curvy because her hips are bigger and create that curve. If your hips are big enough you will get that curve, your waist doesn't have to be small.

Eunha is a healthy pear shaped young lady. She played smart of found a balance for her body type of the demands of her career. But it boggles my mind how these companies pump millions into an idol group but having a proper nutritionist and personal group trainer is not a major priority. That goes into the well being of idols. A good nutritional diet helps combat anxiety, depression and illness. Something that idols are constantly dealing with during promotions and in their personal lives. I know JYP has take steps to create an overall wellness program for their idols that also include mental health. I wish more companies, regardless of size had available resources so that idol can get better treatment and care. Many of these idols starts off so young and the company because a second home to them. Some their primary outlet and their own real connection to other people. With that being said its important that company see how they influence their idols as well harm them when they advocate crash diets or ignore idol(s) members health.

She went into some body changes although a lot of websites still say she weighs 46kg. Each website I've seen says that
Tbh those "official weights" are mostly bs, they always make the number lower than actual weight(i still remember how sm made "official weight" of f(x) amber 45kg and then it turned out she actually weighs 56kg), i think eunha's real weight was/is around 50-55kg
I think when eunha gain weight, she gain the most at her thigh but still thin waist
Her face is round type so when she gain weight cant really notice any difference

Eunha is a healthy pear shaped young lady. She played smart of found a balance for her body type of the demands of her career. But it boggles my mind how these companies pump millions into an idol group but having a proper nutritionist and personal group trainer is not a major priority. That goes into the well being of idols. A good nutritional diet helps combat anxiety, depression and illness. Something that idols are constantly dealing with during promotions and in their personal lives. I know JYP has take steps to create an overall wellness program for their idols that also include mental health. I wish more companies, regardless of size had available resources so that idol can get better treatment and care. Many of these idols starts off so young and the company because a second home to them. Some their primary outlet and their own real connection to other people. With that being said its important that company see how they influence their idols as well harm them when they advocate crash diets or ignore idol(s) members health.
