Before you all accuse Eunha of fake crying, she was diagnosed with langerhans cell histiocytosis at the same age as the boy here. Eunha had to undergo lots of shots like the boy and blood work but thankfully she's fully recovered. I can't even imagine going through all that at a young age so please have respect

When she was little she felt the same thing as the little boy, she was very sick and also got lots of injections. It's normal, totally "human" to be sad because she put herself in the son's place. Don't criticize someone when you don't know him/her well. Thank you

I can relate to Eunha. When I try to talk about something that's upsetting I start to cry and the more I try to just talk through it, the more I cry. It's very frustrating because I want to get my point across, but I just end up making squeaky sobs like Eunha. My ex used to think I did it to guilt him or for attention, but it's really involuntary.

I do the exact same thing. My heart starts beating really fast and I just erupt into tears. It could be the simplest of confrontations like apologizing for something or telling someone I didn't like how they made me feel and I get so nervous I just can't handle it and embarrass myself.

I think Eunha felt so emotional because she used to be sick as well when she was a kid. Her parents always took care of her & to know the father didn't do the same to his child, she could feel the hardship to go through this without a parent. I hope the dad really change. :/

climmy grim That's the thing about Koreans in Korea their views about counseling is that it's something that is weak for you to do. So honestly this show is a relief for some people who probably can't get the other person to understand what they are doing is wrong or selfish.
there's also the stigma of mental illnesses related to the word "counselling".
climmy grim Yeah some of the cases are too heavy to be handled by the MCs but yeah with the mentalities of Korean people, this show is kinda a blessing in changing that mentality even for a bit. The show used to invite real practicing counselor and psychiatrist but it seems that they stop to do so. when i heard that they're adding a new MC i was really excited because i was hoping for a Psychiatrist but they Cast Taejoon instead. I do like Taejoon (his humour is on point and he is very entertaining) but i really wish someone with more eligibility to handle such issue is casted in his place.
akmal hamzah :( i was just thinking what a good idea it would be for this show to have a psychiatrist or councillor, if not on air, someone that can talk to the people on the show after hand and get them the help they really need. I cant believe they used to have one but they took them off the cast. Some of these cases are really dark. There was an aunt who brought her niece on their and the niece was genuinely depressed, and there was another kid who was 15 and was obsessed with his stuffed toys, which people made fun of and got angry at him for on the show, but it seemed he had real abandonment issues. Sometimes i feel like this show is as much of a blessing as it is a curse as it makes a light hearted situation out of quite serious mental health issues. Lets not forget south korea has one of the highest rates of suicide in the world
I read a comment somewhere that stated that little bit after the show is aired, they check on the families and see if they need help paying for a professional if the problem wasn’t resolved. Of course I don’t know if that’s a proven fact but that’s what I’ve heard

There are people worse than that. I have seen my neighbour, his son's hand broke but he didn't even go to see him but went to drink. The mom had no money and she came to us to lend us some. The boy's elbow was crushed to pieces and was replaced with a metal ball. Yet that father never went to see him. The boy was only 5 years old
"Eunha is faking her tears" ??!! Yerin was accused to fake her tears during Rough promotions. She regretted even if she wasn't faking because people bashed her for the ugly cry..so she kept holding her tears for the rest of the promotion. And now what do we have ? Again a member that cries and is again what ?? accused for faking her emotions ??? What's wrong with crying ? This girl had a hard time younger. She knows how it is hard to be sick and she felt very concerned by the story. That's it.

I am so sick of these comments that "She was faking her tears" or "She's too sensitive" or "It's all for show" you honestly need to shut up. Everyone isn't the same, some people are a little more sensitive than others, Eunha had a disease when she was little so she can, in a way, relate. Bottom line, she's a human, she has emotions. I'm sensitive and that particular concern didn't make me emotional, but when Eunha started to cry, I started to cry and I would NOT like to be told when I cry, "Oh you're just faking it." That's completely unfair and out of order. Please rethink the things that you post next time.

Divorce isn't the solution. Change and adaptating to change is a more simple way of solving the problem. If there would be change from the father the kids will be more happy including the wife. If they(the married couple) would divorce, it wouldn't be any psychologically better for the kids and the mother.

Ahh i relate to this family so much... My dad is exactly the same, he abandons everything just to repair cars and sell them even though he is an engineer... He never supported my mother and wasn't present when me and my two older brothers were born. Now i don't even know how to talk to him and he just doesn't treat us as his kids. He would do favors for other people gladly but complained when it came to us.. he tries sometimes but other times he doesn't show that he cares. Well we are all old now so its a little too late, but this family still has hope they can get through it. I wish the best for them.

1. She had the same experiences as that kid when she was younger (she had to regularly get shots up until around 6th or 7th grade), so she knows how hard it would be for the mom and the kid. It’s a feeling netizens obviously don’t know about and can’t feel- called SYMPATHY.
2. Eunha is a kind person. All of GFRIEND’s members are kind, I can say that for sure as a Buddy. It’s not her fault if she cries more easily than others, her heart and feelings are still the same.
