I have a question, when someone cross dresses, like all the time, same as the gentleman in the video, do they want to be trans, or are they gay? Don't get me wrong, l very well know that cross dressing is done often, in theatres too, and musicals and stuff. I am asking like normal everyday life.
@@optimus2183 Crossdressing doesn't really tell someone's sexuality all the time. Crossdressing is just, the act of dressing up as the opposite sex. One can be straight and crossdress just because they feel like it or because they want to be pretty or many other reasons, but that doesn't mean their attraction is affected. For me though, i do it just because it looks cute. It's true that i am gay(not trans because i dont want to be a girl/i like being a boy), but i dont think crossdressing resulted in that. I just like cute and pretty things.
I'm kinda the opposite.. I am a girl who loves clothes that are for boys or gender neutral since I find them cool and comfy. Plus, I am slightly taller than most girls I know and have short hair, so most people think I am a boy and I don't actually mind. I wonder if that makes me a cross dresser or a tomboy? 😄🤔🤷🤷
They are so sweet & genuine feeling, are all Koreans like this?? - I’m American, never been out of the country & only had one Chinese friend, also sweet & genuine, very blunt also. Loved her
He's so pretty. It's so crazy that men wearing women's clothing is seen as "cross-dressing" but the opposite isn't true. Wish people could just be ok with others wearing whatever they want without people being weird about it. Then again even 70 years ago women wearing trousers were heavily frowned upon, so we might see an evolution of this mentality within the next few decades.
Yess i was also thinking for a while how crossdressing is only called crossdressing when its a guy wearing feminine clothing. I hope freedom of gender expression improves in the future as well.
For someone like me who has a cross dresser boyfriend, this warms my heart knowing that people are being more open minded with this kind of things. Hopefully one day, more men who loves to cross dress won't be ashamed of doing so and hope they will find a girl who accepts them for who they are.
I think it's a bit confusing for such an old fashioned country to learn the difference between transgender, cross dresser and drag queen. Cross dressers still identify as their biological gender but like to dress up as the other gender bc of aesthetic reasons. Drag queens are a sub category of cross dressers and do it for a living in combination with singing/dancing and/or comedy. Transgender people are people who identify as the opposite gender as they were born as. Some of them just change their name and ask to be called by different pronouns but they are fine with the way they look. But some of them get really bad gender dysphoria meaning they get panic attacks, anger issues and/or depression when they are confronted with their biological gender (for example when they see their boobs/penis or when others treat them as their biological gender). That's why they undergo surgery and/or dress as the gender they identify as. The boy in the video is a cross dresser so he is comfortable talking about his gender but with transgender people it is nice to be careful what you ask them bc it can trigger their gender dysphoria
As a transgender person I agree with everything. I have a lot struggles when people ask about why and how. Some people don't understand and I actually came out like 4 months ago. First I told my friends because they were the most understanding, I was afraid to tell my family but somehow they all weren't surprised. Still I meet a lot people who do not understand it. I do try to make them understand but it is very hard to keep calm and tell them nicely when they tell me I am "not good in my head". I live in the Netherlands so I am lucky everything quite simple. I mean like all surgery and other process, it's most likely free to do it in the Netherlands when you're a citizen. But I do hope to bring more understandable in the world by coming out and share the love we transgender people have. It is hard and life is difficult already for most people. One day I hope to move to Korea, I will not hide my past but also it is more safe for people to not give it away freely. Be happy and be you

Very true! Some people just prefer to present themselves more feminine or masculine. Some are mixture of both or neither. The possibilities are endless. Sometimes it doesn't mean that they wish to be that certain gender, more so they feel more comfortable and content appearing that way. Personally I feel the easiest way to clarify this is to ask for their pronouns so you'll know how to refer to them. After all everybody is different so sometimes asking is just best.
I think if u want to express how feminine a cross dresser looks in fem clothes, it would be a compliment, since thatz kind of the point of it and ofc takes effort, but since he is a he, it would probably only be uncomfortable if u take a dig at their naturally occurring or regular features and mannerism like "oh, u look like a girl even now!" When they're dressed male or something of that sort
Its the same with dragqueens, we can't assume that all dragqueens are gay, some are heterosexual or bi or any other, there's even women doing drag so it's not always a guy either! I think this is so incredible, there's so much we can learn from other people it's amazing

that's your point of view, everyone should be able to have a different opinion about that, personnally i don't agree with this crossdressing thing,i think you should act and dress as your sex told you to,to me we have to live following nature basic things,as acting manly if you're a man and girly if you're a girl,i'm not saying that people should change their personnality but that parents should teach their kids more about what is being a woman or a man, because today men become women and women become men and this shouldn't be happening because nature didn't make it like that.

That is the kind of reaction you want as people shouldn't be shocked by you living your best life what ever that means
I thought so too! Now I understand why he (I hope I'm gendering him correctly since I think he said he's not trans) said he was hurt at the non-reaction. I suppose he thought he wasn't "passing," perhaps. I think I would react similarly, like the other guy. As the other guy said, I too know lots of different kinds of people, including two who cross-dress. So to me if would feel disingenuous to have a big reaction
I feel I would have had a similar reaction, and I thought that the person who was crossdressing was hurt because they thought they didn't pass as well, which is definitely not the case.
Chill, anyone can be surprised or lack reaction. People react differently to different things, as long as it's not malicious or hateful it shouldn't matter what kind of reaction it was.

Didn't know, thx!
One day I hope to move to Korea, I will not hide my past but also it is more safe for people to not give it away freely.

when it comes to this topic idk what would be the proper way to react. like i don't wanna be rude and be like, "oh you totally look like a GIRL" when he is HE and just dressing in pretty clothes. but i also understand that crossdressing requires a lot of courage too. so i don't want to treat those people too stranger-like, but it's a fact they also are precious and special like any one of us. crossdressing and sexuality is not always =.
Same. And I thought the guy’s response was the most respectful and appropriate as he didn’t make a fuss or anything and I thought people would prefer that, but in this case it actually hurted the cross dresser (sorry I forgot the name >
So I crossdressing just dressing as the clothes associated with the opposite gender? I didn't know there was still a term for it I just thought it was wearing clothes 😅 when my guy friend wears a dress I don't think he's crossdressing I just think he's wearing a dress?
Lots of Asian culture is created around respect and respectful interactions. It’s not surprising that he was so calm. This is common
Practice in Korea and Japan .
FYI: Crossdressers are not all trans. most of these questions are ones you ask a trans person. Crossdressing is just a hobby. trans people crossdress yes. but not all crossdressers are trans.
"Trans people cross dress" excuse me what?
Wtf do you mean trans people cross dress
@@urmomlover69 pls I'm so confused cause they're 3 things that person could mean and only one of them isn't really problematic
@@urmomlover69 well I think he's saying not only does a man mutilate himself he's saying they dress feminine as well. Still a he though.
@@benjaminfreeman2851 damn who hurt u dude ?let people enjoy thing wether they are a cross dresser and trans person or a dude its none of ur business also pronouns do not equate gender
I like how they don't judge. ❤️
Your not supposed to judge anyone he/she seemed nice so I would be like cool but are those real 🧐🤔
Yeah,its bare minimum
the younger generations are more open-minded despite the country as a whole still being conservative in such matters

Okayy everything was beautiful but his hands bro ,i literally fell in love ,as a girl even I don't have such pretty hands and his hair, he is soo so soo soo pretty, prettiest person I saw
Kyojun's reaction is how everyone should be about this.
He reacted as if it's the only casual, normal thing in that meeting
at the end he said Kyojun's reaction hurted him a bit
Yes. YES! That's what I thought, too!
@@HaifaaAmni i had to rewind this bit and didn’t get it at first, but maybe it’s because he thought Kyojun wasn’t surprised by finding out he was a boy? Like maybe he suspected from the beginning? Although Kyojun did say he knows lots of different people, I was actually relieved by his reaction (because here in the west men are more likely to be problematic with such matters) but it makes me sad to know he found it hurtful :(
that's your point of view, everyone should be able to have a different opinion about that, personnally i don't agree with this crossdressing thing,i think you should act and dress as your sex told you to,to me we have to live following nature basic things,as acting manly if you're a man and girly if you're a girl,i'm not saying that people should change their personnality but that parents should teach their kids more about what is being a woman or a man, because today men become women and women become men and this shouldn't be happening because nature didn't make it like that.
5:26 yeah that's kind of how I am whenever anyone has told me they were bi,gay, trans etc.. doesn't really matter. As long as your happy and healthy then hugs 🤗
Awwe i love that! It always makes me feel so apreciated
i would just say "omgggg fiestaaa"
Do you understand why he was hurt by this guy’s reaction? Cause I thought I would react that way too
@@addieg6481
I wonder if the hurt was because they read his reaction to mean he wasn't surprised because he didn't think they looked convincingly like a girl
@@addieg6481 i would say that he probably felt "hurt" because the guy seemed to not care that much. that was definitely not expected by the crossdresser since he maybe had talked to the other people before
He's very pretty, so I'm glad he passes well. Personally, I am a male dude that has inner feminine desires and aspirations that could only be expressed if I was anywhere near as pretty as him. I'm still figuring out my life, and I hope others that might be struggling like me, but more seriously, can continue to find their true self and be able to express it as well.
Good luck, I hope you're able to express yourself freely soon!
i really hope you find what makes you comfortable!! :) it's always good to try new things and see what you like or don't like
Man up and be the best woman you can be
i hope the best for you on your gender journey 🏳️⚧️
good luck dude :) im a trans guy, so i can (sort of) relate, even if it was a lot more… major i guess. you can do it man, clothes dont define gender
The guy "I know a lot of different people" 🤣🤣🤣 I feel you lol nothing surprises me anymore.
respect to the girl with lilac hair who took the time to ask if he was trans or just cross-dressing.
It's the same thing
@@chisworld9331 Mhhh, no it's not. Your thinking of people who consider themselves "trans"- someone who does not identify as the gender they were assigned at birth. This can cause dysphoria as you learn to hate your body. "Crossdressing" is when you still identify with the gender you were given at birth, but wear clothes typically associated with the opposite gender.
@@TheMagicalArden you said everything I didn’t need to ^^
@@alicepetal5766 Oh good, I was wondering if I messed up a definition.
@@TheMagicalArden so men who are crossdressing like females what are they considered males or females?
I adore crossdressers like him. I mean they look so good whenever they are out wearing clothes that I will never be able to wear. I like how they put things together on themselves.
