@jakenotfromstatefarm8042 I listen to almost all of those. Becoming the archetype and demon hunter are my 2 favorite along with Red, and then I absolutely love corpus christi's sound. Wish they made more than 2 albums

The amount of heavy music Impending Doom has been blessing us with is incredible.
Great lyrics .. A song of repentance, unseen warfare against the passions, thundering screams, and interesting guitar action in this one. Hits hard. The poetic line "no one in hell wants to be alone" took me a minute to understand but this is a very true statement. When we're slaves to passions and demons the last thing we want to do is be in solitude to be tortured by our conscience and the restlessness in our hearts. All three of these songs on this latest EP are so good. New Doom favorites of mine for sure. Glory to God ☦☦☦

so I've noticed the Church I am going to right now tries to tie the lyrics of the worship songs to the sermon.......I wish they played this song for the closing :)
Could you imagine the rest of the congregation's reaction to this type of music? I would pay to see that.
I love that this band is not about the fuzzy message of the gospel, which is equally important, but we need to also focus on the fact that not everything in the Bible is easy to hear or accept. People are attracted to the good and turn away from the stuff that isn’t easily agreeable. You have to take the word of God as it is.

They call it a “Repentagram”. It’s not an actual pentagram. A normal pentagram has 5 points, but this one has 9. It’s supposed to represent the 9 fruits of the spirit. Hope that helps 👍

I do enjoy your music and agree with your lyrics more than anyone else in the industry of entertainment. If that's what this really is. I'm not even sure anymore what any of this is about. In general. I think I'm whatever God says I am, to answer your question in the song. I don't really understand the world all that much, nor do I have the ability to read people's minds. So, I figured since you're a believer of Christ and are against the devil you would be alright with others that are not sure about some things ask a question or something. If not, that's cool. Just ignore me. Jesus can always guide me to the answer. But, that's why we also have teachers and there's nothing evil about it because Jesus said to teach others about the Gospel of Christ. I don't think this stuff is just art but it's more than that. Not even therapy. If this is therapy for artists, you guys sure are harming a lot of people. I think this is spiritual warfare. You're not going to kill people are you? I have a feeling the others who are demonic will kill people. If you're really what your lyrics suggest, then what is this to you? People's music that is of God and Jesus versus people's music who write about being against them and then the other category of music where they may be based on a real story or based on a story that's made up? Does it matter? I think it does. But, I'm not sure because my lack of knowledge and the deception of this generation is messing us all up. I'm not even sure you'll reply but it's worth asking. Can't really be sure who is of God or not or what this world is really about. I guess it doesn't matter really. I've found the majority of artists I talk to are violent and very rude anyways. And sadly that’s where you’re wrong. Not all Christian songs have to literally say Jesus’s name. They have really important messages behind them that He uses to bring people towards Him. If you don’t wanna believe me then look this song’s message up yourself 👍
