Case law in California has shown that officers cannot obstruct your filming by intentionally shining lights at your camera. Looks like the cop did this with the car lights and with the light on his person.

If you drive at insane speeds on public roads then YOU would likely have a lot of run ins with the police too. DDE should be very careful about baiting the cops like they do. He can’t tow the car for exhaust since it’s not registered in Cali or even in the US for that matter. It’s a Canadian car and their laws are different. damon was wrong here bc he poorly explained the plate situation to the officer, confusing him. he initially said bens works removed the plate and he just picked it up from there and is going to his shop to put the plates on which to a 3rd person wont make sense since bens works removed it. he never stated that he took the plates with him and dropped them at his shop.

The no insurance ticket is a scam because even if you prove in court that you had insurance they still charge court cost. So officers don't care whether a ticket is legit or not the city still collects when you go to court 🙄

Legit, you need to get Dashcams installed in all of your cars!!!
Having the right one will save you so much hassle with recording things leading up to an event, whether you show it here or save it for insurance/court.
I know your butts covered in the case with the 720's crash but having the footage from the 720's perspective would also go a long way in that process too.
Dash cams work both ways. For you and against you. That’s why they don’t have them.

A cop accused me of going 100 mph in a 75 zone on the interstate, but I was going 82. Cop sure changed his tune when I told him I had a dash cam that clocked mph. He let me off on a warning not to go over 75.
