I may be a NOFX fan but Sara definitely has a gripe. He pulled the overly creepy ole fat drunk guy on her then broadcasted it out via music. Yes the song was self deprecating but he took a not so private talk and shared it with fans.

It's great when the celebrities young people pay attention to identify inoffensiveness and respect as the antidotes to conversation-rape, not using your personal power and agency to tell others where your boundaries are, let alone an understanding that the randomness of nature and of human behavior means that not every experience we have in life is pleasant but personal growth and meaningful learning rarely occur within one's comfort zone.
Also (and this isn't a criticism of Tegan, who was paraphrasing others), the NOFX song was not in any way a diss.
They would have been better served by taking the song for what it was instead of getting offended. They should have laughed at the absurdity and moved on. Nobody would be asking them about it if they did.
