I actually liked the peony speech🙃probably because Vicki gave it. Cozy Carol Burnett Show which didn't shut down despite highly contagious '68-'69 Hong Kong flu. Normal '60s-'70s. Good old days. When you got sick you went to doctor and/or stayed home. No big deal
That wasn't a boring speech at all. I love peonies and I got pissed when the fake cackling got so loud I couldn't hear the speaker anymore. The (supposedly) comic aspect of the skit was pretty boring, though. It's hard to believe anyone would laugh at that if they weren't getting paid.
Vickie's voice!
Missed this sketch.what a class act . Carol and the whole group
Tim Conway was so cute 😭
Dea Goldylocks he handsome in his own way too 😃✨
How Lyle ever managed to hold it together I'll never know 🤣
He was probably telling himself, just think of it like it's real!
R.I.P Tim Conway😥

Wow who hasn't been there.. You just gotta sit through it, lol! Ugh!

Had Harvey Korman been in this sketch...he would've never held it together.
Peonies 😋what a subject
How is Lyle even sitting there with a straight face?
He didn't crack up much
"Well I shall not keep you in suspense any longer"
CUDOS to the writer for all the info on peonies.
9th grade history class....all over again...🤨
Is it me or.....I liked the speech. I couldn’t figure out what she was saying, though; pee-a-nees?
