It was hard to align the clips with tape for mirror already in place. I recommend putting the back plate on first, then putting the tape and mirror glass on.
Does it matter which side goes on the glass mirror and which side goes on the base? I see in the video they peel off the 3M side and stick that to the base, but my sticky sheet is reversed the only way it fits on the base is if I peel the brown side and stick that to the base.
What if it’s hard to remove the cords in the back of the mirror? I cant get them off

It doesn't matter that which side goes on the base or glass, only follow the side you want to stick it. :)
