Well, mine came with the mirror already attached to the backing plate. Guess it won't be my fault if the glass breaks upon snapping the assembly in place.

If it feels like you're going to break the damn mirror while changing the caps out then you are doing it correctly, lol

Does it matter which side goes on the glass mirror and which side goes on the base? I see in the video they peel off the 3M side and stick that to the base, but my sticky sheet is reversed the only way it fits on the base is if I peel the brown side and stick that to the base.

Great instructions! Took me about 15 minutes to install my mirror caps.

Do you have white color ones?

It was hard to align the clips with tape for mirror already in place. I recommend putting the back plate on first, then putting the tape and mirror glass on.
