    Coach Damin breaks down Russell Westbrook's famous inverted euro step and gives you a simple 4-step process for adding it to your game.
    This is a nasty move to use on the fast break, or against the second line of defense as you're attacking the rim, so watch closely and make sure you get all four pieces dialed in.

    02:42 - Jab Pound & Pick Up Moving
    03:22 - Inverted Euro to the Rim

    You can still use 2 steps after that pound dribble, right?

  • @lam8478
    @lam8478 6 лет назад +18

    You can counter by coming back to weak side..If cut off..Westbrook makes look easy because of quickness..You really have to sell the move when you do the pound dribble..shifting your body to one side to the other..Thnx EGT..Keep the videos rolling✌

      LAM 1984 most players arent fast enough to counter that backwards. Its unexpected at a Standstill so it gets them offguard. Plus even if he gets stopped he can just dish the ball to Steven Adams and get an easy dunk down low. Always leads to something.

    The move that he used for the help defense and fed Steven Adams. Crafty and fast. Thanks for staying active on RUclips.

    During the jab pound step you don't pick up the ball, right ? You only pick it up when you take the next step w your right foot, so does that mean I can take one more step before going up to the hoop ? correct me if i'm wrong pls

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  6 лет назад +3

      You still have 2 steps if you perform the move correctly.

    don't you have another step left to take too? The step with pound dribble is the gather, then ball side but we can take one step right ?

    hi coaches and fellow aspirants, what are the best LOWER BODY exercises for basketball (better if i can do it everyday)? i do push-ups every day and my upper body has improved a little so its time for my lower body. i think its also more important because you need to be quick and agile. thankss

    I feel confident with my finishing ability, but I have trouble getting to the rim and a move to get to the hoop so I can finish. Any help?

      Andrew Dwyer learn to shoot better and itll force your defender to play up on you, meaning the have to have a faster reaction time

    When you do you guys reopen programs? Do you guys have a set schedule for when you open programs and then close them off or is it based off demand like people asking you to bring it back? Thanks

    You are only taking one step. You could finish on your left foot in case defense adjusted, right?

      yup, he's only taking one step. sometimes it's better to get your shot off after just one step though, messes up shot blockers timing.
