  • My Dad & I stopped to see the Spring Flowers blooming in cental TX. There were so many Bluebonnets, but this butterfly preferred the red Indian Paint Brush (I think?) flowers.
My Grandma passed away almost exactly 1 year ago from cancer, and she left this message for her family to read in her journal...
"Every step you take... Every breath you take... I'll be watching you. In the butterflies, Red birds, flowers. Everything I like, I'll be watching you till we meet again in Heaven. I love you all so very much."
We believe that Grandma came to visit us as this beautiful Black Swallowtail Butterfly. She only chose the red flowers, which was Grandma's favorite color. She also only stopped fluttering her wings when I asked her to, and also when I said, "Hi Grandma!"
I don't believe that it's "just a coincidence" whenever things like this happen. You can believe whatever you want, but we felt her presence, and no amount of scientific reasoning can convince us otherwise. ❤️🦋⚘️🪻
