We have a marriage certificate from Georgia. It doesn't show the name change but they gave us a certified copy of the application for the license where it lists the designated name I want. They said I should tale both papers when I go get my drivers license. Will see how it works for other stuff

Hello, my wife would like to change her last name to my artistic last name (the last name I go by) and so I would also like to change my legal last mame to my artistic last name. Would this cause any hiccups for USCIS or in my home country? 😅

I'm the American. The marriage certificate shows that I will change it to my married name. Is it safe for me to put my married name even tho my id and things still shows my maiden name

Hey. My wife still has her maiden name. She wants to change it to my last name. She we wait until she changes her name on our marriage certificate then we start the adjustment of status application or we can go ahead . Thanks

We were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. We were able to change her name on that marriage certificate.

Hi there! It is a possibility, but it's somewhat rare to have an interview these days since they often waive interviews and just mail the GC to you.
