Rainbow Lorikeets joyfully munching on Doncasters street trees Flowering Gums Australia

It is always lovely to come across new reasons to enjoy my local area. Keeping the streets clean and safe as a member of Neighborhood Watch and speaking up when I see something undesirable. But on the weekend I got to stop as I was heading off. Stopping to watch many Rainbow Lorikeets hidden within the two trees. One red and one orange with lots of movement as I sat and watched these beautiful birds joyfully munching away. The Rainbow Lorikeets in the Flowering Gums along Beverly Street, Doncaster East took over as the smaller birds watched from the powerlines.
