Your swahili accent is on point, Sheila so excited about beaches, even dar you can go to coco beach and walk on a newly built tanzanite bridge. Slipway in masaki is a nice place too. All these places look more lovely when visiting in the evening.
I think it is a high time Ugandans learnt Swahili, it is the only East African nation that does not speak Swahili, i once visited a country in the middle east and when Kenyans, Tanzanians, Rwandans , Congolese and Burundians were bonding in different set ups speaking Swahili, Ugandans were left out requesting people to translate yet they are also east Africans 😅
Christ Church Anglican Cathedral was a former slave market in stone town Zanzibar it has a memorial for African slaves taken by Arab slave traders on the Swahili coast its rich in East African history and is a world heritage site built in 1879 by British missionaries before that zanzibar was part of the Oman sultanate from 1698-1861 and was the biggest trading post in East Africa where Arabs,Indians and Portuguese sold spices, ivory, gold and african slaves across the Indian ocean to the Middle East and India in 1873 David Livingstone abolished slavery you might find it interesting. 🇹🇿🇺🇬
