One of the funniest things that happened when I worked at BP was some guy stealing like two handfuls of chocolate bars and doing a runner…but to pick up said choccies he had to put his bong down and then left it behind. Bet he was upset later!

As someone that worked at a gas station for 3 years. The bit about schizophrenics resonated with my soul. We had so many people that I questioned if there was something up, actual shizo's that we had to sometimes have the cops come pick up because they legit had no idea what was going on, heroin addicts ODing in the parking lot, the list goes on. I don't even live in a bad town, gas stations just attract these people like flies to shit. There was one poor girl that went to my school, and we'd banned her months prior but she just kept coming back, when you told her she'd have like a second of lucidity and then try to steal something on the way out. And it'd be anything she could get her hands on, even pamphlets and napkins, and you'd see her come to a second later and have the look on her face of "why do I have this".
Yeah I'm glad to be moved on from that. Bad enough just dealing with people being unreasonable over the tiniest of inconveniences. I mean to put it into perspective the kind of trash that came through there was a chick that was a regular that had a gold plated Xanax bar necklace. Died laughing when a cop was getting his drinks for the night, chick goes "I fucking hate cops, pigs this, blah blah blah". She walks outside and her boyfriend was being arrested for possession of meth and she got booked too because her stupid ass didn't just walk away. Didn't see hide or hair of that Morticia Adams looking chick for the rest of the time I worked there lol.
Drunks / stupid people crashing into fuel pumps & large fuel spills etc, you temporarily cut off power to the sites pumps and announce over the PA the shut down reason, and then watch everyone want to kill the idiot that caused the problem.
Can anymore remember ever only paying 30$ for a tank of fuel 😂 I wouldn’t be complaining. Love your videos!

Nah what does me in is those DARE iced coffee, or farmers union if you’re on the cheap end of the month. Go in only paying for petrol and some RRD chips, end up coming out with 3 Dorito flavoured DARE iced coffees and a warm pastry that tastes like a wet sock in summer.

Worked at a gas station here in the states for a couple years. I guess some things really are universal. Some of the crackheads were great, one guy I really loved called himself a professional lotto player

My local has a lineup of tradies for a couple hours every morning, and they've got a regular supply of the best bacon, egg and hash brown wraps coming off the hot plate. So good.

As a person who worked in a servo I can say it is accurate as hell. We even had our own Davo, who was convinced that there are two Melbourne cities in Australia and that Coldplay stole his songs.
