One word of advice. Never steal tools from a builder. My mate caught a guy who nicked a 3ft iron spike from his kit that had been his grandads. Him and the other lads tied him to a plank of wood and threw him in a skip with a nice fibreglass blanket.

I did some casual work driving a concrete agitator truck back in the 90's. Almost every site I took concrete to, the concrete finishers would all run up to me wanting to know how many cubic metres of concrete I had. Then they would all go into a huddle and little arguments would break out as a spirited confab went on. One day I just had to ask them what was going on and one of them said, "Mate, we need to know how many metres we've got so we can work out what time we'll be in the pub this arvo!" I ran this past a bloke I knew whose brother was a concrete finisher and he told me it happens on almost every concrete job. So c'mon Garn, do a video on these weird fuckers in those rubber boots - the concrete finishers.
Calling a car with a "baby on board" sticker the angle of death couldn't be truer. The number of times I've seen cars pulling insane moves makes me wonder if its the baby driving. Mate! You're like a ray of light in a world that just keeps pissing down on us.

An electrician i know signed a contract to run run electrical instalation to 10 newly built houses. After 6 months of work he asked wheres the money, the manager said to read the contract - he'll get his pay when all 10 houses are sold. Completely diabolical buisiness. Great content btw, subscribed
Most of the trades I know of were on the same rates for 15+ years and at the same time covering nearly all the price increases for materials, out of their own pockets. Would you work for 15+ years on less and less money every year??
