UNBELIEVABLE, INCONCEIVABLE You sir are a master of design, perhaps make a video showcasing the models and their play features someday Makes me wish that LEGO would make a new Harry Potter game similarly to Hogwarts Legacy
Looking fantastic! If you wanted to make a thestral-less carriage all you need to do is stabilise the joint from the carriage to the traces so that they hold themselves up in front of the carriage. Not sure how the balance would be but with the magnet as far forward as you have it I can’t see it ever falling over. Can’t wait for the big changes, your layout is always such a great inspiration.
I know it’s not technically close to Hogwarts. But…the cemetery. getting chills thinking of how you’d make it look. With the old manor house in the background.
This would be a great moc to show on conventions! I really like your improved rockwork! The facade is also pretty perfectly detailed so it is not boring but also not overly busy that it detracks your eye on the overview... 🖖
@@JellyBricksAndGaming Thank you so much bro!🙏🏻 I would actually love to display this at least once!🤩 I’ll have to see if there are still spots available in coming Belgian conventions 😱
Such brilliantly detailed work. Thank you for taking the time to give us such a detailed inside look at this epic display. As it stands this Moc already rivals many others so I can't even get my head around what the entire display will look like once integrated with your Hogwarts Castle. I'm sure it'd be well deserving of a designated space at Warner Bros studio alongside their model of the Castle for both muggle and magic folk alike to marvel at.
@@Ravenblack42 Thank you so much and my absolute pleasure!!🙏🏻👊🏻 It’ll be a long and slow progress but I hope it will be worth it eventually!🙌🏻 Now that would be sick!! 🤯
This is a very impressive moc, with a great sense of scale, composition and attention to detail. Not to mention, the function and imagination! But I do think the Great Hall suffers from over-detailing. The marbled look almost works, but the colour is dominated by jarring splotches of dark tan and nougat. It looks a bit like a tiger print, if I may be so bold. The architecture is obscured when there are too many studs, dents and curves to take in. The Hogwarts in your city is a very strong moc. It balances detail, colour and shape very well. I think increasing the scale of it while dialing back on the detail would get you the winning effect. Either way, this is a really fun and dynamic moc that I'd love to see and play with in person. Keep up the good work Brick Sanchez. I love seeing your Hogwarts take shape ❤
@@charliern Thank you so much man!🙌🏻 I do understand that for sure! I’ll definitely try to work on balancing it all out better, creating more patches of deterioration instead of having all the colors put together. Some parts like the Hogwarts Gate and back wall have a lot more deterioration than front buildings like the Great Hall and Viaduct Entrance, so those will probably be made more or less in the same color 🙌🏻 Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated!👊🏻👊🏻
I think the two tone trees are too loud, or at least the ratio tan/makes it seem loud. The lighter green seems like there’s too much. Especially with the lower half/base being naturally loud due to water, greenery/foliage, rocks etc. Makes the color scheme feel out of balance. That said, this moc is incredible. Absolutely stunning with the work you’ve done here. Moving parts, illuminated, a lot of “eye catchers.”
Thank you very much man! Do you mean the olive green/dark green trees?😱 I do get what you mean, unfortunately at the moment the small leaves only come in olive and the bigger ones in dark green but I do want to try them out in just regular green to see what that looks like tho!😁
You have got to be the best moc creator of Hogwarts/wizarding world layouts. This build is absolutely amazing with so many details and moving elements that I could never get bored of looking at it. I am so excited at the thought that you are going to integrate this into your Hogwarts/city layout at some point, and I can't wait to see it!!! I love the detailing on the Hogwarts gatehouse. The stonework and texturing is incredibly detailed and in my opinion looks very realistic. I would love to see some owls flying to and from Hogwarts (some possibly carrying letters). I'm not sure how you would achieve this, but if anyone can it will be you!
@@stephaniealexandra5142 Thank you so much Stephanie, I really appreciate that!!🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m glad you like the newer texturing style!🙌🏻 Well that’s an awesome idea!!🤩 I could swap the dementors out for the owls but that would only make a small circle 🤔 Perhaps some fishing wire in a “skilift” type of configuration with owls on it here and there would work!🤩
