so even if JM was in power and they continued borrowing money the same amount of money, the rate of change will slow down.

if we continue with this percentage talk it will come back to hurt us.
we are now close to 700 billion in debt
the next government can add another 700 billion to make it 1.4 trillion and they will say oh we just increase the debt by 100% will the NPP party be happy with that explanation?
