Wish I had this thing for my dad's place I'm tired of crawling under all cars I'm 33 but exsuted of it but oh well that's life someone gotta do it might as well be me
okay. first of all, tamper seal should not be applied until the plug is verified tight by the upper bay tech, and confirmed to not have leaked during a pressure test. The filter should also be checked for leakage during a pressure test before the car is allowed to leave the bay. I have seen many filters (both spin on and cannister) leak during a pressure test. You absolutely cannot allow a car to leave the bay without having the car start for at least 30 seconds, with oil pressure up. Defective filters exist. I've seen them. And lower bay techs make mistakes. The pressure test ensures that the car is drivable upon leaving the bay.
PPE is so unnecessary lol. Just dont be dumb and you have nothing to worry about. I've done over 10k oil changes. I've only had really minor burns from overheating cars in 116 degree weathe.
