Yup. Trivium's music isn't terrible, but they're some of the music I'll skip when it pops up on my random playlist, yet I have nothing but respect for the guys.
I love finding out about musician playing video games and how that inspires them in their music. I'm the same way. I'd love to be a musician and make music and stuff for sound tracks! I remember playing games like Apocalypse, the suffering, tekken, etc. and thats what got me into all kinds of music. Mick Gordon is a sick musician, got me into playing 8 string!
Grahaaaaam 😍🤩 Soooo good to see you back!!! And with Matt of all people! What a treat!!! I came to Gamescom just to see him at the concert. I don’t even like games 😆
Love that Matt pointed out Final Fantasies II and III in American are really FFs IV and VI. Didn’t know he plays One Winged Angel in between bands that is so awesome; I wonder if he’ll play the FF VII Re trilogy?
Wow, it has been a while since I last watched a Loudwire video... Graham is bald now!? Looking good right there, but that's nuts, never thought I'd see the day! Edit: Oh my God, I feel so bad for my comment now that I went out and searched for it. Hope you've been recovering well, dude!
DANTE’S INFERNO is an AMAZING “metal” game….it’s for like 2011 I think, but it’s about the poem Dante’s Inferno about the 9 circles of hell and the game is like God of War, but in hell…and it’s AWESOME….HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I was 14 and got called out of school by the principal…thought something was wrong…waiting in the office was my pops and I kept asking him why I was being taking out of school and he remained silent…we then pull into the mall parking lot and he leads me into Walden Software(like a Game Stop) and the employee goes into the back room and comes out with a FUCKIN N64….with Pilotwings and Mario 64(only games at release available) and I lost my mind…I cried like a baby, lol…and it didn’t come out for another week but my uncle actually knew someone and I was able to get it early…they actually had 5 consoles a week early and one was mine…even cooler, the next day of school parents let me play hooky and I stayed up almost 2 days in a row playing Mario64…the jump to 3-D, especially with Mario was so incredible….then I had Star Fox 64 and Mario Kart 64 posters on my wall and Nintendo Power sent out a promotional video for upcoming 64 games with Star Fox, Killer Instinct Gold(Awesome theme song btw, go listen to it), Wayne Gretzky’s 3D hockey, Ken Griffey Jr Baseball etc…I watched that fuckin tape literally 3-4 times a night, then would literally dream about Mario Kart 64 and Star Fox…I play them still on my DS….still have all my old consoles, Genesis, Atari, All 3 Nintendo consoles, PlayStation 1,2, Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Sega Dreamcast, Virtual Boy(which SUCKED). Good times man
Doom was so cool tge first time i seen it! i didnt get a computer till i was like 14 in 2001, so when i was like 9-13, going to friends houses that had comps was fun thing to do , and when i went to my bud pauls, his dad was playing a game on his comp, and it was doom! it was so crazy too see, i never knew computers could play games like that! i had only ever played games at after school activies, an that was on apple 2 or somethin, n they were educationl games. when we got pc's in like 96ish, with windows 95, i stayed after school everyday to play this space ship flying shooter game, and it was a blast! the 30-40 some computers were all being played, everyday after school, from like 330-600! good memories
I was 13 when the first Doom game came out and I remember how awesome it was to first play it at a friend's house. 6 years later I built my first computer out of the working parts from discarded computers. At the time it was still adequate with a Pentium II but after that I caught the PC gaming bug and built a much better one a few years later with new parts.
@sd Well if you haven’t realized by now, he’s half Japanese. He was born in Japan. I don’t see anything wrong with it. All he’s doing is representing where he came from. I have all the respect for this dude in the world but that’s just me.
This was truly such a blast - as always! Great to see you friends!!
Just one question, Fallout or Elder Scrolls
always great to see you, matt. proud of you, man.
Always Matt Heafy.
Correction Snake, you mean always Meat Heafy.
Matt, thank you for doing what you do. After probably 15 years, your song from Hellsinger finally reinvigorated my love for metal, and I missed it.
Someone once said: “DooM is a $60 metal concert by Mick Gordon, that includes a free video game about some guy killing demons.”
Brutal
Too bad they botched his score on the sequel
Guilty Gear is just a band that releases kickass albums that come with a free game each LMAO
@@ronch182 To be fair, you could say it’s too bad he kept pushing the deadline.

When I saw Trivium on their first UK tour I was amazed at them putting One Winged Angel from FF7 between bands, I loved it.
I'm not a huge Trivium fan but this dude has always just been awesome on every front. Love it

Matt is a very motivated, hard working guy. Its amazing how much stuff he gets done
This is why we love Matt.
We don't deserve Matt, what a guy
When matt talked about his elder scrolls collaboration I realized he was talking about The Phalanx off The Court the Dragon. That's actually amazing
Matt knows games for REAL! Like an actual gamer. 👍
Always cool to see Heafy of course but wow! Great to see Graham back!
So glad to see Graham back!
Joseph Gordon Levitt seems like a really humble musician
Graham now reminds me of Jens Kidman after his battle with cancer.
"I came here on a train that was delayed for two hours"
Lucky you, you got an original Deutsche Bahn experience!
Graham looking good!
英語圏の人はリュウをライユみたいに発音する人が多いけど、マットはちゃんとリュウと発音してるのが素晴らしい。
そうだね
Doom 2016 is the reason my 13yr old LOVES metal/hard rock…I hear it blaring from his room constantly
All of this for Metal Hellsinger. It's just beautiful.
Matt Heafy and Doom in the thumbnail? I'm in
