Luxury shag works best. If you want shorter pre cut fur that is really thick, go for beaver faux fur. A good website to find these is howlfabrics. Hope this helps!
i’m planning on making a wolf partial, i’m very new and have never made anything besides dinomasks. does anyone have tips for beginners? i’m young and really want to have my own fursuit.. my family can’t really afford a commision or pre made either lol. id adore any tips, and this tutorial has really given me a lot of information i didn’t know! edit: also, anyone know cheap sewing machines for beginners?
Is it hard to wear? Like since you put pillows through the paw fingers is it more tighter and harder to move? Because I tried to stuff my paw fingers and it got progressively harder and harder to push in, I just want to know why mines it kinda uncomfortable for my human fingers
The pattern I use is much larger than my actual fingers! I add the pillows so that the digits will stay in place and it's easier to grip things. When done right, they should be snug, but not restrict your circulation.

i machine sew all the claws in one sheet instead of cutting them out first. its just so much faster IMO
Ooo so pretty! I recommend shaving all the fingers before you cut them out as one big peice. It takes a lot less time

There 5 paw an it needs 4 paws but dont worry bout that ill make that soon
