I just bought this pattern for my kemono cat partial! I don't have the fur yet but I'm so excited to try the pattern and I'll update this comment when I get the fur/finish the paws :) Thank you! edit: JUST FINISHED MY PAWS THEY TURNED OUT AMAZING!!! Thank you!!
You sew the sides and the tops of the fingers of the liner to the edge of the paw. I don't think it really matters just make sure you can stuff the paw still after attaching the liner. And make sure the stuffing goes on the top of the paw.
EDIT: I didn’t make the claws in this video, but I made a pattern for claws that’s part of this pattern now since Dec 2021. I’ll have a new video posted sometime soon ! But they’re just sewn out of fleece and hand stitched on.
I know this was from 8 months ago but some great faux fur websites are: Howl Fabrics (specializes in faux fur and has a huge collection of different colors of fur) Fursuit Supplies (not only sells great faux fur but also sells tools and accessories for fursuit making!) Big Z Fabric (sells all different kinds of fabric and, from what I've seen, has many options of solid as well as patterned faux fur) Hope this helped! :)

how would you hand sew the pawpads on? Unfortunately my mom got rid of our sewing machine (it was old tbh) so I have to handsew all my projects now
