Hi Chanel ! I love your videos ; hopefully your adventure in Baires keeps your levels of excitement up there I am from NY living in CA now. My son lives in Palermo; he is 10 years old and was born in NY but him and his mom are looking to find Americans to mingle with - share some values and culture together - and make friends to also “keep their English alive” please let me know if you have a group where they meet for coffee or drinks. I would appreciate that so much
Just an interesting fact. Those claw machines have a counter inside that give more strength to the claw let's say every 50 attempts.. (it's programmable for the owner) so in most of the cases no matter how good you are with your aim cause the claw doesn't have enough strength to keep the teddy attached... So it's %10 aim 90% luck :( Anyway!!! Good video as always
Argentina has a strong relationship with Japan since some really long time. There are huge Japanese communities in the country, there is one near my home that was actually visited by the Japanese emperor some years ago. The relationship started when Japan was in a war against Russia, and they were losing, so Argentina sold to Japan two cruises that were pretty much the key to win and kept the independence of Japan. Since then both countries are friends and Argentina loves Japan culture
Hi again, Chanel! It looks like your sickness didn't last too long, so I'm happy for you. I know what it's like to take care of yourself on your own, and like you said, it's hard--so I'm glad you have Michael to help you. I'm glad that your friends are understanding as well. Honestly, I think that people who move abroad tend to think alike and have similar outlooks, so I'm not surprised that you're all getting along really well. Glad to see things are going well for you!
Thank you! Yes having someone definitely makes it better ❤️ and yes I always find myself extremely blessed because I’m always surrounded by the people I’ve always wanted to be with ❤️❤️🇦🇷
Bienvenidos a mi querido barrio, Chanel & Michael!
I'm old enough to be your grandfather but tu vlog me llena de ternura (y de nostalgia).
Great video! Let's hope the weather in BA improves soon. I'll never be a real Argentine as I don't like mate (too bitter), alfajores (too sweet), and I'm vegan. I'll just have to fit in somehow.
In England, tea is drunk with sugar and in Argentina, mate is also drunk with sugar, but most people drink it bitter because they like it that way, so it's a matter of taste. There are also many people who don't like sweet things and prefer more salty food. Our country is very diverse, it's not just mate and alfajores!!! We have more than 200 years of history. 😎
There're many vegans in Argentina. There're also people that drink mate with sugar and many other people don't eat dulce de leche (like diabetics, for example), so you can be an Argentinian if you want. Like we say over here, "el argentino nace donde quiere". If you want to be Argentinian, then you just are
Although Argentina and the United States are different countries, what commonalities do you find? Is there any Argentine custom that you say "this is so American"?
wait, which dulce de leche you consider to be "bad"? Clearly Not sancor, or laserenisima... Maybe ilolai? the ilolai dulce de leche to me is TOO SWEET!... ( i think Ilolai dulce de leche you can only get in Entre Rios, my province ( state )) ( ilolai is a brand, they make all sort of dery products )
@@chanelmeyerr I see, I was wondering because I think I've never see you mention the "merienda" topic on the channel hahah. I completely understand that, since it would also be very difficult for us to have dinner so early.
9:20 Welcome Siesta!!!... a more common practice in not so busy cities or towns in Argentina... Probably, you would not take a siesta = nap in Big Cities do to the tight schedules but outside big cities.. oh boy!

Hi! How is the safety over there nowadays?
I don't understand if u never have a "merienda" or prefer not to do so in order to continue eating dinner on Yankee time 🤔
I think it’s just our culture it’s something we enjoy doing and then having a snack later at night so we flip it
