Also, you can ask siri to catch you a ride with uber on the homepod, cause it finally integrates with your iphone. APp developers are the one's behind since they don't want to add support or are lazy about it.
Yes, since HomePod OS 14.2 you can even make your HomePod (original & Mini) your default speaker with Apple TV. My original Homepods now work amazingly with AppleTV.

The amount of money iPhones cost and the quick amount of time they become obsolete I’d never by an iPhone again. I have an iPad Air I’ve had it since it first came out and although the battery life dose not last as long it’s still going strong. Developers are still creating apps I can use my older apps get updated it’s a brilliant piece of kit. But iPhones only have a short life considering how much they cost.
I agree. Too expensive and too late into market. Plus Siri and HomeKit does not integrate with many smart devices. Think apple missed the mark by 2 years. Other system now have display and sound.
@@sakenu16 as far as integration, Apple, Google, Amazon and Zigbee alliance have created a coalition to have a connectivity standard for all smart home devices. Meaning, Apple won’t really get hurt as much because they were late to the market because all upcoming smart home devices will work with home kit natively. As for the display and sound, yes, I wish they would offer a nest hub alternative, but they’d probably charge twice as much for that.
Spotify is their competitor... why should they include spotify if they want more people to use apple music? Im using spotify as well and am sad that it doesn’t support spotify aswell but when it’s about money they’re doing the right thing.

Most decent smart speakers are wired. They're supposed to be placed in one spot not moved around like a bluetooth speaker.
