@@hushe3302 not many have done it tho, dude legit held 5 different spots in top 10 with different roles at the same time. He didn't just reach rank 1 with a different role every time, he did it simultaneously.
I've tried him out after seeing Angel use him during last summer split in LpL, very fun and unexpected pick in low Elo, silver 1 to 2.
You have perma prio and are very hard to gank while decently aware of the enemy jungle, awesome for setting up and supporting jungle (support whenever he comes around haven't seen much of them roaming).
It's also very handy for the exp since if the botlane is doing good you can exp boost the adc which is usually under leveled due to high af support proximity
Zilean has a queue mechanic with his Q and W, if done correctly you can Q>Q>W and the 2nd Q gets casted in the exact same position and instantly after pressing W

its actually funny the woo titan is in my friendlist with an insane winrate on his rumble midlane. His match history is always like 18 wins 2 losses with insane stats. like 15/0/9 games etc-. so awesome to randomly see an analysis against him hahahah, I think he is like top rumble EU
i swear zilean has been broken for a very long time in solo queue, like you said. his E and ult are so powerful for solo queue since the movespeed boost just enables people to fight more and chase down kills and the ult is insanely strong, not to mention that the exp passive also allows you to get your carries further ahead and he has very good wave clear

he was nerfed indirectly last season when he was too strong on support

There are plenty of champions you can play passively with and climb but zilean is definitely a good example.
Zilean is very good against juggernauts, and very helpful to teammate juggernauts!

My first zilean game was In Aram and I went like 27/0 and I haven’t touched him since then but I’m planning to play him he is pretty fun cuz of how annoying he is
It needs a buff on Q, at least 15% damage to be relevant. If you are low elo, don't play this champ, not only you are going to feed, you will be dependent on your team to carry you, and on low elo, thats not a good thing. It's like going karma mid, break even in CS or win lane in terms of CS and Plates, and being mad cause your team lost lanes, and u don't have a KIT to carry the game yourself.

Hey when you were suggesting to people to focus on improving.. when I was playing league and climbing back in s3-s7 hands down the best thing I'd do was.. record and rewatch my game play. Could maybe mention it. The majority sits in... silver I think now. If they get recordings of both sides of map.. they'll see both teams are equally as shit as glaring issues in personal habits.

Doesn't work beccause after a certain amount of minions killed you get less gold and experience from killing minions if you have spellthieves
Used to work b4, but now you need a teammate near you to proc it AND you trigger minion rule quite fast which gives u -10g for every CS

As a Zilean main this video was very rude. He’s not shameless… But, he is pretty straightforward nonetheless. Play towards your team. If they fail, you can’t hard carry like the big damage mages/assassins. you can’t just print LP with him like Vex and Viktor.
I ended last season in Plat and I had a 69% wr out of 40 games. His lane phase can be weird and he’s heavily macro focused. His 1v1 power is dismally weak into tanks/bruisers as he has literally one damaging move. The way to win with this champ is determined in champ select. You need teammates with high damage.
All in all, he’s incredibly fun. You can run circles around people and bait out abilities with the ridiculous speed from E. Your aoe stun can automatically change the tempo of a team fight. If you want to try him, just survive lane phase till level 6 and enjoy being a massive pest from then on out.

@@DefeatLust In my experience, he doesn't really have incredibly hard matchups. It all depends on how enemy jungle plays. He shuts down assassins pretty hard after 6. An assassins' entire kit is centered on being able to one shot carries and Zilean's ult disables that. Even better, if they try to one shot someone, he can hyper slow and stun them before they can escape. In lane you can literally just hard push with bombs, then go roam. At level 4 you can auto clear the ranged minions with double bomb. Just push the wave, then roam to whichever side the jungler is on, or towards bot lane if they're being pressured hard.

i always find that playing strong early game champs and building a lead for yourself is the best way to climb fast. otherwise your too reliant on having teammates who can actually teamfight properly
you can just play support, but I agree with you. everything below plat 3 people just play whatever they like and are not consistent. so many people playing qyanna jungle even though they suck on her, or playing yone or yasuo because they are op. but they cant play them. in higher elo people just tend to stick to 3-5 champs for ranked, and supporting them is usually alot better.
I've been abusing zac mid... build tank get mejias and do too much damage and perma roam. Zac has e, ult, and passive for safety, so he can take big risks and still stack that mejias. I generally don't care if the other lanes do well early because as long as my jungler is doing well (and if he plays around mid he is) we will insta kill other lanes so much that they'll start doing well.

Why is Top lane the hardest lane to climb with. I always see mid laners, bot laners, jger all climbing. But you don't see top laners. Not like you see mid lane or jg. It's a real shame.
Cuz ur on an island where no one gives a shit about u and one mistake and ur out and at the same time you go 3/0 and ur team is still legally allowed to run it down

I mean im not gonna sit here and say Zilean is harder to play than Qiyana or Akali but he's not an easy brainless champion.
All of your damage and a lot of your CC is locked behind a skillshot that you have to land over and over and it's really easy to mess up, and your ult requires crisp timing to be used properly, and your autos are notoriously shit.
Now, this is a simplified playstyle, ignoring CS and running Swifties to get broken MS so you either speed yourself to uncatchable or you run someone down for a point and click slow, but still overall he's harder to play than a lot of control mages IMO.
Oh and his early levels are really weak and if you dont learn how to play them you will get fucked in a lot of matchups.
Ye and with that ms, he is also more fun than some of these passive mages. Drew kinda goes like u will not have much fun. But for me some champs he plays regulary like viktor, oriana, taliah are just more boring. Fun is more of preference.

After 6 he would have no problem against those champs honestly, i’m a mid main and played him with a few matchups, he’s a really safe pick + he can waveclear and zone really well. and his e makes him fast to avoid skillshots
