What if Sharon Apple from Macross Plus ended up the time of Macross Frontier and what would happen if she took over the minds of the crew and ace pilots of the S.M.S. Macross Quarter crew? Well check out my playthrough of one of my favorite parts in the PS3 Game Macross 30 Voices Across the Galaxy!

The moment Information High started playing and I saw the Macross Quarter my jaw dropped and I became even more excited my eyes in disbelief at seeing characters from Macross Frontier under Sharon's control! So epic and the follow up fight that happens later to free them is even more amazing. Sadly I can not show that without muting it because Macross Frontier music gets an instant flag from RUclips so I will post it to my twitch channel sometime down the road or you can watch me play it there in the future!

@@trence5 I would love to do a video of the big throw down against Sharon towards the end of the game but sadly it has a ton of Macross Frontier songs playing and those would get my video blocked and copyright striked hard lol.

If you can find a copy of this game and still have a PS3 you can play it on a US PS3 just no english subtitle option.

Blame Harmony Gold for that
Because for decades the Macross license outside of Japan was held by Harmony Gold (Robotech), which meant they had control over what did and didn’t get published outside of Japan.
Thankfully the PS3 being region free meant you could import the Japanese version and play it.

This seems like a cool game. Maybe it's worth paying the exorbitant price for it. I might have trouble learning to play it without reading Japanese, though. I loved the Gundam Extreme Vs games.
If only Sara and Shin survived in macross zero :(

Yup, one of my favorite parts of the game but man super hard fighting all the aces aside from Alto from Macross Frontier and the Macross Quarter as well on Ultimate Difficulty!
Is there any real life flight mode like in Ultimate Frontier? Cuz the flight mode you use is horrible like in PSP mode. Cannot do post stall maneuver and sharp maneuver.
I wish a new macross game with macross delta included x3
Yeah I would love to see how good one would be on PS4 or PS5 and PC. I love the Valkyrie's from Macross Delta so they would be a welcome addition!
Try it real flight mode in hard settings. Its what im up to at the moment...

I know what you mean, best we got was Gundam Vs, Gundam Extreme Maxi Boost coming out later this year and Gundam Battle Operation. But I want a new Dynasty Warriors Gundam or some like the MS Side Stories game.

Another Century Episode, Front Mission .... and yeah Dynasty Warrior i played this on Xbox360, man it better than it predessor ( ps2 ) just when i thought ps4 gonna give me better j mech game.. Ps5 already in the making and none of the listed appear yet..
Anthem btw despite boring enviroment interaction, i really love how the control, fight, button setting works! Man i would love to play better mecha game with this control !

how the hell did Sharon get on Quarter O.o
From what I can figure since the game is all in Japanese with no English sub, the main bad guy of the game brought back Sharon and is using her to help control Protoculture technology along with hypnotizing the Macross Quarter crew to fight against you.
i cant even figure the first level out
It can be a little tricky, if you look under the Gamefaqs website in the Macross 30 section for guides there is one you can download that has the menus and pretty much every item in the game translated along with some of the quests.
Bandai should buy the entire franchise and remake the game with ace combat elements.

Damn i wish this was released in the US. I cant remember the name but there was one macross game on some PS i loved years ago. Was like ace combat but you could change into a badass robot

Why i this the first time I'm hearing about this game??
Because none of the Macross games made in Japan ever left Japan thanks to Harmony Gold owning the licensing rights for the rest of the world. Robotech Battlecry and Robotech Invasion, both developed in the west, were pretty much the only ones we got published outside of Japan. Ok games in their own right but never reached the heights of the Japanese developed ones.
So the only option left was to import the Japanese games, which you could play on any PS3, and deal with the language barrier.
Why does this song sound so familiar?
Final Macross Plus episode, if I remember correctly. During the final battle, it’s what Sharon is singing on stage.
