@@KylicksHaven thanks so much. I recently started my second loc journey, first was maintained through crochet needle because they were way too small to palm roll. I used gel for my first retwist and i can tell its not for me unless it was maybe like aloe which is way lighter. I really want to stay away from build up so I tried the oil retwist and so far its going on to the second week
@@althea5809 check out my Retwist video with only aloe Vera gel and juice . That had been my goto Retwist routine but I wanted to try out only oil and water !

It usually takes me about 2-3 hours but if I’m not focused longer because I be playing sometimes lol!
Do the oil retwist method cause build up?
Not for me because I didn’t oil my hair again until the following week since so much oil was used during the Retwist !
How long do your retwist lasts?
Topically the look really fresh for 2 weeks but my edges start to get frizzy after that. Although the retwist is still tight I begin to have frizz.
