For the speed run stuff basic lights are handy so you can tell which way the car is pointing way off in the distance especially in case it spins out or flips and rights itself.
You need to use some heat to break down the thread lock. Normally, I would use a mini-torch, but I didn't want to damage the CF. So I used my soldering iron on the head of the screw for 15 secs. Then gave it a try. If it didn't come loose I gave it another 5 secs. Do that on the stripped head and try turning the mount.
I just built a tto1e Semi truck over the course of about a week and could totally relate to that sinking feeling of what to do next with the pile of parts 😂
nice vid, thanks.. haven't stripped mine down yet.. have an outstanding order gripe with Rlaarlo that they're just ignoring me on, so i've lost enthusiasm to some extent... BUT i will say, my diffs were tight af when it arrived.. the front shocks were about where i'd want them (bit of play), but the rear shocks were really loose.. definitely going to up the fluid weight and prob put some nitro tubing in there
I had to hound after Rlaarlo to get them to acknowledge the rest of my order… eventually got through to them via instagram DM. Magically my order then shipped. Glad you enjoyed the vid!

I eventually got it out with a screw extractor. The issue really was that it stripped kind of easily.

Those look like fun kits to build. Especially the bodies.
