      Thanks for the video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts.       I have decided to try anything it takes to be able to have a bowl movement im in a bind I have to get some relief from this its hard for me to do my day-to-day work and live a normal life Noone understands how miserable I am unless they've been in the same way as I have,and I don't want to be depending on medications for the rest of my life I want to be able to have a normal and healthy lifestyle 🙃

    I have been struggling with constant constipation for 2 years, and it even put me in hospital until the Drs discovered that I have a long loopy bowel. This is the first time I have been able to go without having to take laxative powders in water every day. I only discovered that yoga was possible for this due to looking for my insomnia. You are an absolute angel, I can now use a natural method rather than medication. Thank you so much.

      I'm not sure it cures it completely. All I can tell you is that I haven't had to take daily laxative drinks prescribed by the doctor, as mine is continuous. But this is working for me. I drink a pint of water straight before I do it, and as I do this about 8pm every night I go every morning now. I have also taken up doing beginners basic yoga before this routine. I do the yoga and after that drink the water and go straight into this routine. I do really recommend this constipation routine as it does work.

    I don’t think some people understand how scary and painful chronic constipation can be. It’s one of those things that can get out of hand pretty quickly. This was a perfect and practical solution, thank you so much!

    I didn’t even finish the video before I had to go. I got 9 mins in and said “it’s go time”. I wasn’t constipated for days but I needed to go at this moment and was having a really hard time. After straining for almost an hour, I gave up and started looking up solutions. I needed something immediate and didn’t have access to any over the counter products. As a daily yoga practitioner, I realized that maybe I could find a yoga video to help. This was the first video and THANK GOD. Literally 9 mins in. I’m typing this from the toilet. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🤍

      I am reading this from the toilet. I have Severe Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and Fibromyalgia. With both my digestive system gets thrown off. I have to depend on detox foods , beverages at home and strength yoga exercises to keep things moving. I am happy to see this video and read your comment.     i was totally doubting this… BUT IT WORKED!! i did it 3 times in a row (total of 39 minutes) had to use the bathroom right after!! i had having buildup for 4 days and nothing worked but this!! I say it’s worth the try!! thanks dr melissa!! ❤❤❤ i think 11:16 helped the most! 😊

      @@noname0224 Yes, men can also do these exercises for constipation relief. Everyone is different in the frequency so listening to your body is key. Some do them daily, some do them weekly, or some do when needed. There are also other factors to consider like nutrition, stress, sleep, and more.

    Whenever I'm on my period, I struggle with constipation before and during. I'd usually drink some Bigelow lemon ginger tea with probiotics and follow with these exercises. Works every time!! Thank you!

      if anyone has bad cramps on their period, I use kombucha with turmeric in it and I haven’t had to take tylenol for cramps in months. the turmeric is anti-inflammitory and in a drink it works really quick, you can find it at health stores

    I had constipation for past 2 days , I cldnt eat anything properly , cldnt sit or stand properly . And it was paining so much that I used to cry the whole night .     This helped a lot. I didn't go straight after doing the exercise video. I repeated several poses, did lots of circular ab massages, squatted low, drank warm water, ate plum slices, and drank pear juice. I was able to go after 30 minutes. that's a win for me!

    i was skeptical about this, i’ve tried another video to relief gas and constipation but it did nothing. Lately i decided to quit coffee because it’s no longer good for my heart, however it was to only thing that helped me “go”, ever since i stopped it, i’ve been constipated for days. I did this video yesterday, had 0 results, tonight as i was struggling with the discomfort of no movement i decided to do it again… it worked like MAGIC!!! such a relief! i’ll keep doing until my metabolism is no longer dependent on coffee.

    I have IBS and this miraculously gave me relief. The thing that really helped me was the stomach massages. I had seen that technique before online however you shined light on using multiple circular motions along your abdomen. Thank you!

    I'm no stranger to massages for constipation but this is the best and only effective routine I've found.
    I've been constipated for almost a week. I did this routine last night while in bed. This morning I woke up and did it properly, on the floor. The mat pressing against the stomach felt particularly effective. Just now I did some of the breathing techniques whilw pressing tender areas of my stomach. And finally had to go! Thank you so much for this.

    Amazing video! I was struggling with bloating for a few days. I did some of these poses on my own. But it didn't work. I did it along with you today and it worked. I just realised that I was anxious and frustrated with this problem and I was rushing into the poses previously. Now I had nice relaxed breaths, noticed my body and tada! ❤️ thank you!

    This was wonderful. It defintely got things moving, and then I drank a glass of warm lemon water after and did a couple laps around the house. I then got some relief. Highly recommend for a faster approach to relief than waiting 8 or more hours for stool softener to work.

    I came across this today and have to thank you soooooooooo much...I've dealt with bowel issues for 34 years (Inflammatory bowel disease as well as Irritable bowel syndrome alternating constipation and diarrhea) and have been quite constipated for the last week and this was the best natural remedy I thankfully found....thank you endlessly❣

    Ive struggled with constipation since I was little and have been hospitalized for it before too. Recently it's been really bad and I kid you not, I tried this and repeated it 2 times in a row, and I was able to go after! I don't think that means I'm free yet, but I will definitely keep using this until I am!

    Really worth for this 15 min yoga exercise. It works for me so effective. Right after the 15 minutes I need to go rush to the restroom after have been constipated for the past 4 days. Earlier I have tried many other ways. They were not working for me.

    This is amazing, i never had constipation but this morning it went so hard that i was dipping blood every time i tried to pressure it. I drank 2 litres of water and a banana and waited for 1 hour. I was waiting for a instant relief and i found this video. I did those yoga step my step for 40 minutes and it worked like magic.     I drank warm water and did 2 cycles of these exercises back to back.... the most effect it had on me was a few little sounds here and there. It felt good but there's still no movement 😦
    Am jealous of most people having instant relief!

    I was constipated from yesterday n it was bothering me so much was stressed whole day couldn't sleep properly n this morning i watched your video n did the exercises + i did malasana n bit variations in it and about 1 hour later it finally 😅😅 passed

    Okay WOW. This helped a looot! I’m on my period & I felt bloated and constipated today, so I tried this and I feel soo much better?!! Started releasing some gas during the Yoga practice, which was such a relief for my stomach. Thank you!!

    I am going to try this one I suffer with IBS which is so painful and uncomfortable and something I wouldn't go for a couple of weeks 😮 I have changed my diet so I am going to do this exercise to help.

    I have had a double mastectomy and hysterectomy and have lots of issues with scar tissue and abdominal adhesions... This causes lots of pain and Digestive issues. I would love to see something dealing with loosening the abdominal fascia and pelvic adhesions. Thanks for all that you do!

    I have constipation caused by chemo & take every precaution prior to treatment, but this got me properly going again after 4 days. I think in less than 5 mins after I finished the practice. Thank you!

    You are an absolute angel! 😇 Your video kade an instant difference in my constipation.
    I never noticed but throughout the years, I had involuntarily been holding my breath....not just when using the bathroom but in almost all situations.
    I would have high blood pressure readings for all checkups. I would get lightheaded when standing after 30 minutes of sitting. And I would spend more and more time in the bathroom waiting for/straining with bowel movements.
    Just last week, I was holding my breath and pushing hard. For 20 minutes. Hurting myself.
    Then I simply followed your advice and BREATHED. Blood pressure was high because my heart was pumping harder to compensate for the lack of oxygen. Dizziness was happening because of lack of oxygen as well. And constipation was happening because I wasn't breathing or relaxing during bowel movements.
    They should teach these things in grade school! I'll be your fan for life Ma'am ☺️

    This is great for gas and bloating. I have diverticulitis and struggle with gas and bloating almost daily. this is an easy quick video to throw on and be passing gas by the end of it. Instant relief. thanks so much!

      I literally dont know how to burp both on demand or when I have gas or bloating, so if you have any tips with the video on how to belch out that gas I'd appreciate it

    I know this an old video but i been searching for something that can help with my constipation problem. And i came across this video and i followed every step. It really help😭 i been trying all kind of stuff before this video for like 5 days. Nothing help. I even have to take painkiller medicine to reduce the stomach cramp due to constipation. But with this steps I don't need those medicines 🎉. Thank you 😭🎉

    I’m all about stretching and good hydration. Unfortunately I suffer from OCD. I have had a tendency of tricking my bowels. I haven’t been able to pass any gas since yesterday. After doing this video, the bowels started to loosen. I was able to pass a rather large amount of gas about an hour later. Gotta start somewhere! Thank you for posting!!!

    Feeling a little jealous and disheartened that my belly didn't make any gurgling sounds or movements. I didn't even pass gas :( I felt quite hard lumps which were really discomforting when massaging though so will repeat that part. It's been days and yesterday i felt extremely bloated, severely burping all day. I don't know what else to do as i've been drinking water, eating high fiber foods and walking and exercising and nada!
