This is me trying to translate the whole song into spanish with google translate, here. Hope I did good
this feels like Martlet, Ceroba and Starlo performing a song at Clover's funeral, with Martlet and Ceroba writing the lyrics (also the vocals just sound like how i heard Ceroba's voice in my head) and Starlo on guitar. recounting Clover's story, why they came to the underground and their journey through it. the lines "Was i wrong from the start? I thought I knew but now I question" bring to mind what Martlet was taught about humans and (as far as i remember) Ceroba was the only one Clover told about why they came to Ebott. And Starlo would have to make any song about his deputy western, just who he is.

Thanks, kind patron. As someone who likes to translate lyrics of the songs I enjoy for my friends, this is really helpful, since I can let AI translate most of it now and only fix small mistakes :)
Undertale yellow is the first fangame i've seen that actually takes itself seriously and tries to fit in with undertale's lore, I'm sure there are others out there, but still. This song definitely fits the pacifist ending and I would absolutely love to see you do a song for the genocide route
Same, so many I see are another au and 99% are just edgy sans versions haha, glad to see something that stands on its own using Undertale existing lore as a foundation rather than a crutch
@@TheCubifyerit doesn’t come as vengeance thought there’s a fine line between justice and mindless killing, I watched a video enemy retreating with lyrics that was pretty good and throughout the music clover kept on becoming obsessed with LOVE but perhaps that’s not the creator’s (of UTY) way of depicting genocide route clover. Sorry if my English is sloppy it’s not my native language.
man I wish UTY was canon it fits so well into the original undertale story, its so good. Edit: I’ve listened to this like 10 times and it gets better every time holy sh*t
This is an amazing song, and after knowing what happens in the true pacifist route it kinda makes me cry. Listening to this feels like after the route takes place and knowing how wild west character troupes are, THIS IS CLOVER’S THEME.
I haven't even played the game or witnessed the gameplay for Undertale Yellow, but this song put me through the ringer. I understand a huge chunk of the main story, I'm in my daydreaming enviornment, I want to cry near the end because I'm imagining the willing choice of the MC to sacrifice themself for the justice of monsters, AND OH MY GOD I DON'T HAVE THE WORDS FOR HOW AMAZING THIS SONG IS IN MY ADHD AUTISTIC BRAIN!! I LEGIT KNOW LITTLE TO NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME AND I'M PLAYING THIS SONG AS IF IT WERE THE LEGENDARY BALLAD THEY TOLD ABOUT THE CHARACTER FOR AGES TO COME
The line “was I wrong from the start I thought I knew but now I question” helps my head cannon that as clover in the pacifist route went through the underground their thoughts went from wanting justice for humans and the families of the other past five children,to wanting justice for the monsters seeing how nice they are or can be and only killed the past humans just to see the surface instead of being trapped underground by us and helping by giving up their soul
thats not head cannon thats 0 fan fiction.. its just a FACT the reason that vengance route happends is cus we dont see the good in monsters and we dont switch our morals
I really love how this really captures Clover's adventure throughout the underground! The lyrics and instruments fit so well together, showing the growth of Clover as he learns of true justice!!! If an instrumental comes out I'd give it a good listen for a long while >w
@DannyJoseph- Don't know where you found this, but all the files and code related to pacifist route only have "pacifist" prefix. None of the "true justice" or whatever. Even the official wiki lists these three routes as True Pacifist, Flawed Pacifist and Neutral. I do like these names, but lets not assume these headcanons are actually canons, k?
I love the decision to theme the chorus based on Clover's journey through the Underground, you have my SEAL OF APPROVAL. But seriously, your Undertale Yellow themed content is great! I can't wait to see more!
I absolutely love as song progresses, so does Clover's perspective and thoughts about Monsters. As they question their motives along. Absolutely immaculate. I really like the faint Desert area motif at the back [:
I love how the lyrics convey the feel of the story rather than just relying on key words to show what story they're talking about. I wish there were more fan-songs for UT/UTY like this one. 💛✨
I love the developing chorus in the story, For some reason this gives the same vibes as the chorus from ruins from MOTI, and It's an amazing feeling that's developed will they embrace evil's call or stay determined to free them. It's like this song was deticated to clover losing the missing children poster in the opening sequence. Nothing but love for this work.
Absolutely CHILLING vocals, not to mention the perfect instrumentals for Clover (the mixing on both were downright elevating). I can imagine this playing at a festival at the wild west, with Martlet, Ceroba, and Starlo all holding a homage to their friend after the pacifist funeral. All in all, you captured Clover's justice-filled journey perfectly ^^
I just finished the pacifist route this morning and I’ve been crying on and off all day. This song is making me sob, it’s so beautiful. This is really fantastic, I just can’t stop crying
Originally this song was a "This is cool. Not a favorite but still really cool" to me and now suddenly it's in my top 2 (Second only to your Ceroba song/Me, Instead) Also, side note, I love your voice! It's really different from the stereotypical "good" singer voice but in the best way possible. The emphasis you put on some lyrics also just makes it better, along with just the tone in general. It conveys a sense of somberness, hope, and then acceptance. Also the fact it literally sounds just like how Ceroba would probably sound.
one of my new favourites, I love the use of guitar in this instance because this kind of guitar is very rarely paired with vocals even less vocals that sound angelic and yet this song manages to still be at the amazing level that the rest of evifresh's other songs! and all of the evidence leads to: fresh
An absolutely phenomenal piece. The vocals are just amazing. I love how it speaks both from Clover's and Monsterkinds perspective, or instead putting words into Clover's mouth instead. 00:57-1:14 is just- Perfect.
I love this, Clover instantly became one of my favorite Undertale Characters canon included or not, and the game also influenced my love for Flowey too. Not to mention the OST is easily one of my favorites ever, which I guess isn't a high bar but it's something from someone who doesn't really pay attention to OSTs, but it could also be seen as a complement since I managed to notice it.
I ADORE the country-song vibes from this. That’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually listen to Country Music. Clover is such a simple yet wonderful character from Undertale: Yellow. Love that lil fella. 💛💛💛
I just saw your post about drawing with pencils and found you just uploaded this cool song an hour ago. I love the lyrics, quite meta-phorical and they do the game JUSTICE. I love also the change of thinking happening to Clover. After all, he is just a kid. Got scared he might Go down the deep end, but thankfully not. I respect that choice
"Jump to your death but you don't know it yet" who starts conversation like that. 😭 But in all honesty, this is incredible song that keeps the charm of the original idea and expands it. I do like how it's very obvious from the beginning that jumping in Underground is a one-way ticket, and how gradually Clover changes their mind about monsters: from being adamant in their goal to questioning their own beliefs and, finally, changing their mind to do the right thing. Plus... this song has been playing in my head for a month already, so it sure means something! Thank you for your godly skills and voice ❤
Aaaaannd adding this to a music art inspiration playlist! This is amazing and honestly you should be very proud with how well you did! It’s also crazy catchy so that’s gonna be in my head throughout my shift, not like that’s a bad thing
Note about the true pacifist ending: Clover didn't have to die the way they did. They could have stayed alive until they died of old age, then the soul could have been taken. Clover could have had a full life before dying. They could defeat cebora so I doubt they wouldn't be able to defeat the guard without killing them. In addition as far as they know flowey can give them infinite attempts. So it's weird to me that they just gave up their soul now, instead of living their life in the underground until dying of old age or at least getting to adulthood. I am aware that it just delays the inevitable. But all of us do it, with that logic why anyone should breath? Eat? Drink? It just delays your death, you'll die anyway.
this makes me so happy, i've been looping it. it reminds me of a milgram warden oc of mine, and this is going on his playlist as soon as it goes on spotify. (still waiting on just a fool getting the same treatment for his best friend's playlist, lol)
“You’ve come to search for your brethren, but the breath has all but left” Something about this one line is so captivating to me that I feel like you could probably write an entire other song from just that line
im a die hard undertale fan and oh my god, videos like these are the reason why i love the community so much i love your vocals and the effort you put into this
I was originally like ok, so some guy that's way too strong is gonna kill my sweet child clover eventually. You of course fight Ceroba so I'm sitting there (as in watching someone play it at the time) like, yup this is Asgore vibes guess it's time to die. But no, the absolute unit of a heartwarming character filled with the mindset of justice lends the monsters their soul. This song captures that feeling so once again I applaud you! Also I love clover's design and you drew them well. Quick Q; Do you think any other fangame of either DR or UT will get the same level of polish?
Idk how many times I've listened to this... 5 times ? 10 ? However, it blew me away the first time, and it still does this time ! Keep the great work !
I love how this song takes you through Clover's change of heart, their determination shifting to confusion, to doubt, to questioning, to realization, and finally to grim resolve. The moment where the art turns black and white really highlights that first moment of truth with Martlet. All in all, I love this song! Thank you for making it!
[Odd. It appears your expertise is... Strangely consistent.] [No matter what I check, the cross-referencing I do, your mastery of rhyme seems consistent.] [Niko may be gone, but this is just as good a reason to keep up.] [Good job, Evidentlyfresh.]
Not normally the biggest fan of a ‘western’ kind of vibe, but the game kind of changed that. Really nice style of song, I hope you continue UT Yellow content. A Trial by Fury with lyrics might be interesting.
Something i noticed is that the song starts, slows, stops and then goes into a sprint. So first, Clover "goes with bravery" and his courage "shines", then hesitates with the thought "whose roulette has lost".He notices what the songteller already said, he fell to his death, even if he is still alive right now. The tension is both the fight outside and inside Clover, that is why he tries to calm down by "taking a breath in". His sense of justice shifts when he tries to aim at something with his gun and take the shot and as such, he lost his orientation. He stops as he notices this, like the music at that part. Once he has found his new sense of justice, he "runs" determined to see the end of this. This sense of Justice has a pureness, which "glows",showing a more commendable attribute than before. He grew as a person and his SOUL did too. He sacrificed himself and his Justice, but in doing so delivers Justice in many forms after that change. Getting to have a proper goodbye with his friends, letting them be a step closer to getting out of a prison they do not deserve (so breaking an unjust prison), denying Flowey a chance to get his or the Souls of the other humans and even later helping Frisk fight Flowey/ get the true ending of it all, breaking the barrier
This song is just… such a vibe?? Vocals are lovely as always. The piano gives an air of mourning and a bit of trepidation, but the… percussion? (The quick kchkchkch rhythms? I don’t know what’s it’s called I’m sorry lol) gives me a sense of adventure and driving forward, like justice pushing forward no matter what. I’m always in awe of how well you can create different atmospheres in all your songs, without losing that specific style of You they all carry.
Marty Robbins gunfighter ballets and trail song (undertale edition): The justice in your soul, Big iron, there (still) after my soul, determination, oops I just gave up my soul, my best friends a flower, my other friends a bird woman, the feisty five, my best friends a flower (extended version) This needs to be a thing RIGHT NOW😂❤
Okay first of all: amazing. Second of all: this song really inspired me when I was writing my character for a lore Minecraft smp im on. Third: i love how the song mostly describes the pacifist route "your justice, sacrificed for monsterkind", but it ends with once again saying "but justice can come in many forms" which i took as possibly hinting the geno route, which is still technically justice, but taking a different form than that of the pacifist route.
Okay, this is absoloutely wonderful. I havent seen anything this hardcore and well made in a long time. Good job, really! I'd like to add this edit saying this really kind of feels like a credit scene, as if it'd play during the credits. It's really emotional and it kinda plays through the whole game and what's going on in Clover's head and the monsters view, it's really beautiful to hear and i really want to say this is one of the best fanworks i've seen.
Let me preface that I don't know Undertale lore too much. I have no clue who Clover is or any other names being thrown around. Even though this bears no weight on me the same way a person whose played Minecraft would get a Minecraft song. It's still amazing. From a purely musical standpoint I really enjoyed it. Really loved the melody of the chorus and the alternating inflections of the notes each bar. It's also a very clear song. Its not densely packed with instruments. This is only aided by the vocals. I can't really describe it but there's a huge difference in sound between people like MOTI and Juno Songs which have highly refined vocals. Yours just sounds like you grabbed the nearest mic and sang your best. Not meant in a bad way, rather, it's to say it sounds authentic. Like a campfire song. Pure. Unfiltered. Full of emotion to fit the lament felt for this brave and selfless person. Undertale is so old but I am still finding gems from a golden age. The fandom provides.
Once again, Evi, you made a great song and i hope that you get more attention for the quality and effort you put into them. I literally saw this maybe 9 hours after it went live, and i hadn't actually seen undertale yellow yet, so i gladly binged all of it just to listen to the song with context. Hope you get more recognition!
I'm not playing in undertale yellow yet, but i'm gonna do this. Especially after this song, 'cause after i listening this song i'm understand, this is probably best undertale fan game for all time.
Its sad, but most of the times fictional characters death is sadder than real peoples death. If you ever cry about a character die, that mean author realy made a well story... Same thing in reality, if you cry because of someones death, that means this someone was meaningfull to you.
This is such a good song!!! Your voice is amazing, and the lyrics tell the story without any spoilers! Plus Clover looks awesome, it captures that they fell on a mission. Also I love the change from cut with a knife to shoot with a gun
I like how you can hear both western and eastern instruments here representing starlo and ceroba but I can't hear martlet anywhere? I know she doesn't really have an instrument associated with her but her leitmotif is so recognizable you'd think I'd be somewhere in here?
Clover fell for 3 minutes 31 seconds, that would mean that they were around 70,000 feet high, that means that Mt Ebbot could be close to 5x the size of Mt Everest [that is considering that the hole is closer to the bottem of Mt Ebbot]] Clover not only managed to withstand the fall and air just to get i would assume 1/5 of the way up, and not even considering how fast clover may have been falling, and pressure from being that high, and yet, they can still die to a micro frogget, yw [please correct me if you have the time, this is very rough math]]
I love it my favourite part is "Justice can come in many forms" Clovers decision to give them what they need knowing his own kind did these people wrong and the only way he can make up for it is offering his soul so they can see what was taken away from them. This fan game is beautiful and this song is beautiful as well. Clover saw the light and realized what he had to do
This is surprisingly good, I love the comment about this being preformed for Clover's funeral. This feels like something that could be playing during the credits for the game. This feels like a theme for Clover. P.S. my favorite line is probably "Don't be too quick to pass judgement, on those which you know none."
This... oh god, this is gold (or yellow, in this reguards)! I'm loving the song so much that this is like my third or fourth time repeating when I sent the comment. Edit: I've finally gotten around to finish the game. You posted this while I middle in the game, if I remember correctly... it was the final boss at that. I'm never playing through another run of it, be it genocide or neutral. The one attack from Ceroba just... no. I don't want to deal with that attack again and pray that I survive.
Even though I speak Spanish and I don't understand any of the lyrics, it still sounds like something that someone would play in memory of someone who in this case is clover and no matter the language barrier this song is a great song

You’ve been bestowed
By faith and pride
What have they become?
Where did they go?
You have to find
The JUSTICE in your soul
Becomes the fate
Of Monsterkind
The air is thick
With all the tension
You could shoot it
With a gun
Don’t be too quick
To pass judgement
On the ones
Which you know: none
What is your goal?
What’s your intention?
Was I wrong from the start?
I thought I knew
But now I question
Do you plan to
Make your mark?
Shielding from the sand
Under ground
You’re indecisive
Silver at your band
You’re homeward bound
For clearer skies, yet
You take a deep breathe in
Steady your hand
Your trigger stalls
But who’s the target?
Who’s roulette has lost?
Which one will fall?
You thought
You knew
Just what
You came for
But JUSTICE
Can come
In many
Forms
Running through the streets
Your Soul grows strong
As you go
You know the
Path you’re on
Isn’t too long
Your pureness glows
Take it step by step
Accepting fate
You’ll be alright
Your JUSTICE, sacrificed
For Monsterkind
Their freedom shines
But JUSTICE
Can come
In Many
Forms….
Thanks, kind patron. As someone who likes to translate lyrics of the songs I enjoy for my friends, this is really helpful, since I can let AI translate most of it now and only fix small mistakes :)
спасибо !
Undertale yellow is the first fangame i've seen that actually takes itself seriously and tries to fit in with undertale's lore, I'm sure there are others out there, but still.
This song definitely fits the pacifist ending and I would absolutely love to see you do a song for the genocide route
I would also like a genocide song, after all justice comes in many forms.
Same, so many I see are another au and 99% are just edgy sans versions haha, glad to see something that stands on its own using Undertale existing lore as a foundation rather than a crutch
The genocide route is clearly not canon to undertales lore, but i think of it as more so floweys fault.
@@emireri2387 pacifist ending its not canon to undertales lore also, undertale yellow its just a fan game.
i NEED this on spotify the undertale yellow playlists would go so hard
hey ik i'm month late but it is on spotify.
man I wish UTY was canon it fits so well into the original undertale story, its so good.
Edit: I’ve listened to this like 10 times and it gets better every time holy sh*t
Toby actually "confirmed" It to be Canon If i'm not wrong. But yeah. I get your point
@@Brick_Nickcan you give evidence? If so that would be awesome he could have clover be in deltarune as like asriels collage buddy
@@dragonkidd1644YES
It's not canon, but it has the Toby seal of approval@@dragonkidd1644
@@Brick_NickI don't remember him doing that, would've been cool though.
I LEGIT KNOW LITTLE TO NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME AND I'M PLAYING THIS SONG AS IF IT WERE THE LEGENDARY BALLAD THEY TOLD ABOUT THE CHARACTER FOR AGES TO COME
This song gives me such a good vibe, it's like clover's friends are making some type of song for him on a concert, it sounds so freaking good.
Same
Oh my god i teared up a little.
This made me feel the same things after UTY pacifist ending. God, i love this. Simply a great song.
@@peeka_it’s fan-made names for the routes there is no need to over analyze.
@@Tyler-wx8bx the original comment was deleted. I don't remember what it was but it was just some weird nonsense
3:01 is SUCH A GOOD ADD IN I LOVE THAT THIS IS HERE
I love the decision to theme the chorus based on Clover's journey through the Underground, you have my SEAL OF APPROVAL.
The art for Clover is quite nice and unique like the rest of your art. And oh yes the music is catchy as always.
Not a favorite but still really cool" to me and now suddenly it's in my top 2 (Second only to your Ceroba song/Me, Instead)
Also, side note, I love your voice!
This whole thing is amazing! I love how much attention Undertale Yellow is getting. It definitely deserves it.
Your art for Clover is great, also really good choice of instruments!
But in all honesty, this is incredible song that keeps the charm of the original idea and expands it.
I cannot wait until this drops on spotify, probably my favorite fan made song. Keep up the great songs!
The howling sound of the singer at some points along with the instrumental remind me of touhou themes, this is a really nice song!
This is amazing! Yet another criminally underrated artist
Aaaaannd adding this to a music art inspiration playlist!
This is amazing and honestly you should be very proud with how well you did!
It’s also crazy catchy so that’s gonna be in my head throughout my shift, not like that’s a bad thing
Note about the true pacifist ending:
Clover didn't have to die the way they did.
Eat? Drink? It just delays your death, you'll die anyway.
yellow was so fun to get enveloped into, i hope we get some more fangames on that level for the other souls
Whoa… this is absolutely awesome. The instrumental sounds super cool. Also, 1:11 reminds me of the mechanic in Starlo’s battle. Great job!! 🎉
😢Amazing rythm for song! Its so adorable, that sacrifice his soul for mosters is Justice for their sad position after the War
this makes me so happy, i've been looping it. it reminds me of a milgram warden oc of mine, and this is going on his playlist as soon as it goes on spotify. (still waiting on just a fool getting the same treatment for his best friend's playlist, lol)
“You’ve come to search for your brethren, but the breath has all but left”
Something about this one line is so captivating to me that I feel like you could probably write an entire other song from just that line
im a die hard undertale fan and oh my god, videos like these are the reason why i love the community so much
i love your vocals and the effort you put into this
I was originally like ok, so some guy that's way too strong is gonna kill my sweet child clover eventually.
I'm honestly not sure! it really depends on how seriously other projects take themselves! I sure hope there will be more masterpieces like UTY!
Idk how many times I've listened to this... 5 times ? 10 ?
However, it blew me away the first time, and it still does this time !
Keep the great work !
Oh wow, Justice in your Soul takes over There are no Strings on Me as most viewed. Wasnt expecting that.
I love how this song takes you through Clover's change of heart, their determination shifting to confusion, to doubt, to questioning, to realization, and finally to grim resolve. The moment where the art turns black and white really highlights that first moment of truth with Martlet. All in all, I love this song! Thank you for making it!
Oh my gosh, I actually love this! Good job, Evi!
[Odd. It appears your expertise is... Strangely consistent.]
[No matter what I check, the cross-referencing I do, your mastery of rhyme seems consistent.]
[Niko may be gone, but this is just as good a reason to keep up.]
[Good job, Evidentlyfresh.]
Both catchy and deep, this is definitely a good work. Thanks for the video.
Amazing work as always! Art, music, lyrics... it's perfect!
Its amazing how hard it hits. Great work.
Not normally the biggest fan of a ‘western’ kind of vibe, but the game kind of changed that. Really nice style of song, I hope you continue UT Yellow content. A Trial by Fury with lyrics might be interesting.
Now that's just absolutely AMAZING, I love it
holy crap THIS IS PEAK AS HELL
I think it's intentionally meant to resemble Vigorous Terrain (Dunes theme) from the ost :)
After just a few days of listening to this on repeat I feel like I need it on streaming platforms.
Nice... I like it!!
HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO COOL
I LOVE the western sounding parts in the song :D
No words. 💛
Marty Robbins gunfighter ballets and trail song (undertale edition):
The justice in your soul, Big iron, there (still) after my soul, determination, oops I just gave up my soul, my best friends a flower, my other friends a bird woman, the feisty five, my best friends a flower (extended version)
This needs to be a thing RIGHT NOW😂❤
Bonus songs: vengeance, this lady’s a bad parent, the wild (insert cardinal direction here), North Star
This is a deffinition of masterpeace!
Yep, this is going into my “favorite songs” playlist
I usually stay away from fanmade songs but wow this blew my mind. Great job!
This is perfection, it describes the story of the game and clover perfectly, its so good!
this is such a masterpiece
im so happy the undertale fandom is still alive! its amazing to see a song made once again
The fandom provides.
im literally devouring this song
Once again, Evi, you made a great song and i hope that you get more attention for the quality and effort you put into them. I literally saw this maybe 9 hours after it went live, and i hadn't actually seen undertale yellow yet, so i gladly binged all of it just to listen to the song with context. Hope you get more recognition!
I'm not playing in undertale yellow yet, but i'm gonna do this. Especially after this song, 'cause after i listening this song i'm understand, this is probably best undertale fan game for all time.
I just like everything from this song, the song telling the story, the instrumental, the vocals, the art, everything
a banger as always!!!! love the instrumental
This kind of feelings
I got for first time when
I play RDR 1 and 2
And now this just add a flavour in my western wild shooting interest
Its sad, but most of the times fictional characters death is sadder than real peoples death. If you ever cry about a character die, that mean author realy made a well story...
Same thing in reality, if you cry because of someones death, that means this someone was meaningfull to you.
Jeez, this is really good!!! All of your music never fails to impress me!!!
Clover fell for 3 minutes 31 seconds, that would mean that they were around 70,000 feet high, that means that Mt Ebbot could be close to 5x the size of Mt Everest [that is considering that the hole is closer to the bottem of Mt Ebbot]] Clover not only managed to withstand the fall and air just to get i would assume 1/5 of the way up, and not even considering how fast clover may have been falling, and pressure from being that high, and yet, they can still die to a micro frogget, yw [please correct me if you have the time, this is very rough math]]
this is amazing lol
They're hurt from the fall obvisouly, I mean toriel really should have tried to fix the lever, its her fault they die to a micro frogget
This is absolutely beautiful
Absolute banger as always!
Bro, this is so underrated, it was so beautiful and touching and really fit! Omg just amazing:
This is SO GOOD
You did an absolutely amazing job on this! Been stuck in my head ever since I first heard it
This is pure ART. I love it! I wish this was more popular because you definitely deserve it! I love your work
Omg this is so good, I really like the Clover art!
I love it my favourite part is "Justice can come in many forms" Clovers decision to give them what they need knowing his own kind did these people wrong and the only way he can make up for it is offering his soul so they can see what was taken away from them. This fan game is beautiful and this song is beautiful as well. Clover saw the light and realized what he had to do
This is genuinely so good, i hope it becomes *the* UTY fan song with people making animations for it. This slaps hard.
the jaundice in your soul
The one attack from Ceroba just... no. I don't want to deal with that attack again and pray that I survive.
oh trust me, you definitely don't want to do a genocide route then.... It's way harder and more annoying lol
"You're a dead man walking. Make your mark." is the vibe I get from this song
Aaaa the lyrics is so good! especially the instruments٫ you did so well!
