I enjoyed your video on the gear you wear. After spending 28 years in fire and rescue I would really like you to have a fixed blade knife on that gear belt. It doesn't have to be a big obnoxious one but with all the snags and especially fishing line you encounter you need a knife.
I would also recommend a knife. Also, a pair of needle nose pliers with a set of cutting jaws.

The Chiggs Army shirt is a very good quality. It would have no problem at all stuffing things down in it to hold. I have one and my grand daughter has one. Its her favorite shirt because it has her favorite youtube person on it, lol. She wears it every time she can. It still looks new. Very good quality....

Thanks for all the information - you are a great help - I made a list of things I know I would forget and need while watching this video - paused video and went back and forth. Also going to make a list of equipment/clothes and such needed period. I don't,have tee shirts so I guess I need to order one of yours when I get SSI check again. Well next month end, I have extra bills this month. BTW would you mind giving me a suggestion for a Vlog title. Detector out west suggested "The Gold Hunting Grandam" - I will be 1st time grandma in Nov. 2016, I am 62 and disabled, have Bengal Cats, married with 2 grown sons! OH yes - never did this before just got first ever detector a couple of weeks ago (isn't put together years as I have been sick. I hope that gives enough about me to a get a good suggestion. Absolutely love you videos, ALWAYS informative and entertaining.

I have noticed that your snorkel has a smart zip tie system to give it a lot of movement but still holds. It seems a much better system than a usual snorkel keeper. Are you able to briefly describe it in a future video? Thanks for sharing

Beau, do you ever use at least a little weight in your belt when you're snorkeling? I have a terrible time staying down even without my shorty suit. I would think that as long as you're not in deeper than your chest, weights would help you remain neutral if you had to stay down for more than just five seconds. I can average about 45 seconds without coming up but I can't even stay down that long due to my bouyancy. And no. I'm not a gassy person. Also. Which snorkel style do you prefer? Totally dry or partially dry? I tend to prefer totally dry.

How do you find your spots? Like are they public areas? There is a spot on the Susquehanna River near Harrisburg, PA (close to my parents) that I think sees a lot of kayak traffic. Think it could possibly be a good spot?

Interesting video. It still surprises me that you do not carry a good knife and waterproof flashlight. Plenty of options to carry out of your way and pretty much unnoticeable, especially with your other gear. You have had so many situations in the past when either would have been very useful. Not to mention by now you have quite a collection of knives you found. some very good ones at that.
I like the videos I hurt my foot from the nails on wood had to get 2 shots ! Had a bad infection it took 2 weeks it could of turn septic !

there is something I would like to know more about and that sounds about you little kayak boat. did you but the motor on it or did it come that way.
get a ion air pro camera it's what I use for recording all you do is just a button forward and it records then push the button back and it turns off that's it I record all my footage with it and it already comes in a water proof case

Try coating the toes of your boots with a thick layer of shoe goo before you use them and re-coat as it wears.
