Seeing this video almost makes me sad. It was so long ago. 40 years is a long time when we only live to be in our 70s or 80s. Those days are gone. 1982 I was 11 and I already knew I was gay and couldn't wait to leave the home and be on my way..meet someone, be someone. Those days were soft and warm and unknown and mysterious. Not like the hard fast pace, relentless times we are in now. I thought she was amazing, sexy, beautiful and her spirit called to something in me and was a key to my journey from home and into the world. Seeing this video almost makes me sad. It was so long ago. 40 years is a long time when we only live to be in our 70s or 80s. Those days are gone. 1982 I was 11 and I already knew I was gay and couldn't wait to leave the home and be on my way..meet someone, be someone. Those days were soft and warm and unknown and mysterious. Not like the hard fast pace, relentless times we are in now. Madonna was love at first listen and love at first sight as well once I saw a video. I thought she was amazing, sexy, beautiful and her spirit called to something in me and was a key to my journey from home and into the world.
