Dude thank you so much for this. It saved me hundreds of dollars. They don’t sell them in the states so I ordered one. Fantastic little device.

Great video. Thanks. Will be installing one today, where I have nicked the edge of a copper pipe with a screw! No leak, but I don't want a leak to develop in the damaged area in future.

If it's on the under side of the pipe. Wouldn't sold just pool in the click fix ?

Used one today but my blow torch was playing up and I think it got too hot so I've ended up with a leak out the side. What would you suggest I do? Sweat it off and try again using flux and solder or...?

Certainly worth trying to repair, of it fails again then it will be a case of cutting out, two sockets and a length of pipe 👍🏻

If the pipe is cold mains I'm guessing you can just turn whole water off to stop the leak fir repair? Bur if you need to drain the system can you do a video about that? And what to do in an emergency if you do burst a pipe. Thanks

In an emergency isolate supply (cold mains stop tap and drain) also hook a hose on to drain off and drain heating pipework (if it’s on the heating)

I haven't used one of these. I've seen them about I don't know if I ever will. Plus point I guess would be if the pipes rigid both sides and there's no movement. You could easily sweat this on. For low to med pressure gas lines these would be ok. For water lines I don't really trust they'd hold.

To be honest I was a little scetchy at first but after I saw one of these get pressure tested to 50+ bar, I'm completely satisfied that they are trustworthy. I'm not confident that in every case they will be a good choice but definitely for an emergency or quick fix. Thanks for the comment ghost 😁💪🏻

      They exceed 50bar

    Effective to 50 bar??
Jeez. Household pressure generally 3 or 4 bar.
Does tin foil suffice as s hear guard?
