Her idols were Steve Harris and Rick Savage (she played like a REAL bass player, with her fingers) and my guitar idols are Lita and Slash (she always said I idolize Lita and play like Slash). We'd blast this song and play through a Vox Super Beatle and Fender Bassman. We'd finish the song and hear someone from the next block yell, "Hey!!! Keep going!!!"
I once met Rod Stewart; I told him I play guitar /sing, but I am not that good. He said, 'well, it's not easy. If it were, we'd all be doing it....' Lita is spectacular here! Great guitar playing..... You gotta be born with it. I'll never forget Lita! Today's music is null..... Except if you're a band still from the unforgettable timeless 70s/80s---part 90s.
I met Lita at the NAMM show last year and she was really great! Then I read her book "living like a runaway". Wished I had read it before I met her, great book and highly recommended! I hope to see her there this week!
This is one of the best live performances I've ever seen everything sounds and looks superb, like 130% effort.....her band mates killed it as much as her......If Lita moves this good on stage, than in bed would be scary GOOD!!!!
For every rocker boy who turned-on the squirlie girlies with their tight leather, spandex &/or vinyl (etc.) pants - - there's lovely Lita in hers for us Boy-Toys! She's a DISH! This is how a boy band should be & she owns it, ALL. Love this whole set-up = BEND 'em till they break.
And it's inauspicious because there were and are bands out there that never will get a break so easily today.>When MTV sold out----none of these very promising bands had much of a chance anymore against crap rap music. Man that sucks!!
