I’m going on the Meriviglia in a couple days looking forward to it! I was in the process of booking an inside room as my first cruise, which was last week on the Norwegian Bliss last week, was also an inside cabin and I loved it! My inside cabin sold out while I had it in the cart so had to go for an ocean view - which they wound up upgrading to balcony. it was a great value for a balcony, but I actually prefer a dark room without a window. Who knows maybe they I’ll start booking balconies after this one
Love your cruise schedule and ship choices! :) How was the Bliss? We’ve heard good things! Like you, we love the darkness of our interior rooms. Just so much easier to take that cruise nap! ;) We hope you enjoy Meraviglia! The last time we sailed her in April, they were soliciting guest feedback on the buffet and really had a trimmed down offering (nacho bar every day of our 11 day sailing!) Would you mind letting us know how 6 months later? Hoping they brought back more variety and that the late night buffet is also back to its former glory. Have fun and enjoy the cruise!! -Mark
I loved your video. The room looks great!! There is a lack of storage space but other than that...I love the cabin. I am going to be in an inside cabin for the very first time on the Meraviglia in January 2025. I will be sure not to forget my magnetic hooks. Thanks so much for sharing!! 😄

I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing it in that direction, that’s for sure!!! lol ;) With that said, we still had a GREAT time. The food wasn’t as good as the private restaurant, I can confirm that. And we missed having our own private bar, canapés, and butler… Gosh! Even typing this makes me want to book into YC again!!! lol -mark
I wish I could book an interior, but I am so claustrophobic, I would lose my mind, lol Its a balcony or suite or I stay home unfortunately. I can't use elevators on the ships either, so it's all stairs challenge, which means I can eat more!

Even with the sound machine and earplugs in, we were awake! The slamming of the carts against the wall shook the room. Haha … good news, it did force us to get our day started! ;)
The interior rooms are too small for 2, if surface area is needed. Book an ocean view or balcony. Thoroughly enjoyed my cruise on Meraviglia in March & I am sailing again next January.
@@Susankerchner125 we found we had enough space to get around, just surprised that there wasn’t a ton of storage. We chatted with another couple that pondered the same thing: why not add a little dresser under the TV where there’s all that space! Look forward to trying out an Ocean View on MSC to compare that experience! When next January? We were looking at some YC options… lol

Going from yacht club to a basic interior must have been painful! Was it culture shock?
