Did your garage have a pre-wire for the motion sensor? I see the technician run the new wires. Most houses built with pre-wires.

Check out the capacitor before replacing the motor. (Videos on RUclips) If you think about it, a garage door motor runs for at most a couple minutes a day. Meanwhile, your dishwasher/clothes washer and other motors run for thousands of hours before they fail.

The total cost was $521 including installation (see the description). I don't know the cost of the Lift Master. Thank you for watching my video and for your question!

The up limits looks like it's set a little too far.

Thanks for your comment! Working great so far! Just realized I forgot to check the MyQ app to make sure it was still closed while we were away for two days. This “smart house” technology is weird!

Cant believe he charged you an extra $40 for a controller when it comes with 2 in the box.
Was he really going to keep it???!!!! 🤬

No need to wear that huge belt! I do doors and motors and don’t wear a tool belt and move way faster and finish a lot quicker than this clown. Also I can’t stand when a customer is out in the garage asking questions. Save the questions for the end we have other jobs to do. Have a little courtesy.

Sorry you feel this way, but I always ask permission before I record video of someone doing their job. This “guy” not only agreed, when he returned to replace a broken garage door spring, he was very pleased to hear about the number of views of my video.
      Thank you for your comment.
