    Great video.
Is it normal that the door opener moves a little as the door moves up and down?

There is a great deal of force that is used to open the door, so it is not uncommon to see slight movement, but, make sure the mounting bracket is secured to the wall and the coupling is installed correctly.

Does that LED light really require 6 pilot holes (and therefore 6 screws) to mount? It must be very heavy.

The model 827LM has changed a bit, there are only two holes used to mount this product.

To add to this it weighs almost nothing. imagine a bathroom exhaust fan. If you hit a stud you could use one screw and never notice the difference (my builder thought this and I only noticed because I removed this when I went to paint the garage).

Can this unit be mounted on either the left or right side of the door?

The 8500W can be installed on either side of the door, refer to the owners manual for installation instructions

I would like to install the 8500w, but i don't have an electrical outlet where the 8500w would be mounted, I only have teh outlet in teh center of teh garage door where the lift light would be mounted, can I run a heavy duty extension cord to get power to the motor? Call an electrician would cost me more than 3 motors just to put in an outlet near the 8500w.

An electrical outlet is required within 6’ of the installation area. If outlet does not exist, contact a qualified electrician.

    The opener isn't wireless? :/

The opener itself isn’t wireless; however, it does connect wireless to the homeowners wi-fi internet. The opener is then compatiable with the MyQ app.
