    I'm on this for schizophrenia,I used to self medicate with illegal drugs as a young man,not cool and made my condition worse,I'm clean from drugs and alcohol and have been for years now. But I must be honest,I feel more wasted on this medication than I ever did on illegal drugs! and where it works in some ways,it is kinda killing my personality,and that is something close friends and family noticed before me, and I find most meds of this type do make you better in a few ways, but one thing they have all done for me is kill my personality and give me a lot of other side effect including fits,so yeah they help but I've had to sacrifice a few things like,,,my personality and libido and loss of energy be point where I have to push myself.

    Hi Nurse Ryan, I saw a video shared by the pharmacy on this medication. It mentioned that those taking it should not get too heated, like when doing exercise. I live in a hot climate. What would happen if I did get accidentally overheated?

    • @NurseRyan
      @NurseRyan  Год назад +3

      Hi Valerie, that's right! Quetiapine can disrupt your body's natural heat regulation, and so it can lead to heat exhaustion, and in more severe cases, heat stroke.
      I'll link a document that explains the symptoms and treatments of each problem. It's only 2 pages, so I would recommend giving it a quick read, and I hope it helps! --> www.state.nj.us/humanservices/dmhas/publications/miscl/Summer_Heat_Risks_ENG.pdf

This information was found from "Table 11: Adverse Reaction Incidence in 8-Week Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trials for the Treatment of Bipolar Depression"

    • @NurseRyan
      @NurseRyan  Год назад

      That's a great question! The answer is really up to you and your doctor to decide. If you think that the potential benefits outweigh the potential side effects, then it might be something to try. Ultimately, the decision is up to you. Just remember that if you decide to start taking them, to follow the medication regimen closely.
      I would maybe recommend speaking to others who have tried this drug, or to find some forums where people share their stories with it. Just remember that everyone can have very different reactions to these kinds of medications, and it may take a few attempts to find one that works best for you.

    I am delivering a sermon to you 🙏😊 please read
    Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better.
    And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊
    Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄
    I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD 🙏
    Amen.
    I have worded a short prayer for you to say if you are not sure what words to use, it may not be the best but here it is 😊
    '' CREATOR, LORD GOD,
    Please forgive me and my friends and my family for our immoral acts, please help guide us in a positive direction and please help us against evil. Please save us from Hell and have mercy on our souls. Thank you CREATOR, LORD GOD. Amen. ''
    Please say this at least once a day for at least a month, do it longer if you want to and can 🙏
    You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both 🙏🙏🙏🙏😊 Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol.
    Please put your hands together 🙏 bow your head and say this prayer:
    "CREATOR, LORD GOD, please know that I worship you and not any idols. Thank you for everything CREATOR, LORD GOD. Amen"
    Say ' Om Namah Shivaya ' out loud or in your head 108 times, or try to do it 1008 times 😊 try to do it everyday if you want
    repeat this aloud for as long as you want to, try to do it for like an hour a day or say it in a prayer "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner"
    You can also say this prayer once a day or repeat it aloud as many times as you would like to:
    "Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen."
    Thessalonians 5:16-18
    "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
    Philippians 4:6-7
    "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
    "O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!" Repeat this aloud at least 3 times or as many as you want, do it everyday if you can
    I apologize for all the words 😊 I know how it may look

      I disagree it obviously varies from person to person, Quetiapin for me personally doesn't have any side effects except for being drowzy and is why I take them before bed and also slight weight gain, but i was already too skinny. But it's better than Benzo's and they don't make you addicted like Benzodiazepins do

      No it has helped many people, some are unlucky and are part of the 5% that have some of the rare side effects, i recommend anyone reading RUclips comments to listen to their doctors over anyone, you can find good/bad stories about all medication guys, and the ones that comment the most often had bad experiences

      @@juuk3103 rare side effects??? Where are you getting this information from?? Where did you get 5% from?? I think you are just spewing bullshit....Just because it works for you (as it has for me) doen't mean it's safe...Do some real research. Change my mind
